That was freaking great!

Loved the seduction of Osha. Very well written and believable. So much better than other attempts. Felt like we were watching a reverse Luke and Yoda moment.

Loved the locations. So open and epic. The stuff with Sol figuring out it was Mae and coming clean. Yeah...wtf did he do in the past.

Cannot wait.

 

Damn these short episodes.

 

Interesting episode, finally this series is going in very interesting ways...
Next one will be flashback, but not a full flashback, i think...

c'mon, it's Ach-To

 

I desperately want exposition. I feel like mostly everything released under Disney since 2015 has been kept in a perpetual mystery box state of not really fully understanding what’s going on and everyone speaking in vague riddles to propel social media discussion.

But as far as the actual episode goes:

1. I feel like that’s NOT Ach-To and it’ll be revealed as a sister dark side planet, like the Ashla and Bogan moons.

2. Qimir isn’t even the Sith apprentice and he’s more like displaced Maul having been discarded by his master trying to build a power base of his own; I feel like he will be revealed as “Darth Ren”

3. If Qimir isn’t the Sith apprentice, then I feel like someone else is…

 

I'm going to have to watch that again. Totally distracted by Darth Biceps. Never have I wanted a Sith of the month calendar more.

 

I think Manny Jacinto is seducing us all.

 

Can we get a show just about the Senate’s internal review of the Jedi Order, please?

 

It was a long time ago. It was a realllllly long time ago.

So Qimir was once a Jedi. I wonder just how long ago it really was. How old is he? Can he heal himself?

 

All in all this is exactly what I would expect Star Wars to be like if it was on the CW.

 

This episode lasted the same as episode 2 but it felt SO SHORT. I want more, damnit.

 

Loved this episode. At least a 9/10 on a first watch, but I missed some dialogue along the way. Need to rewatch.

Who gave Qimir the scars on his back? Likely his Sith Master.

Was Qimir abandoned by his Master or are they still a pair?

Next episode is def the flashback episode and we'll get Sol's POV.

I think Sol doesn't meet up with the other Jedi because he's decided to kill Qimir and rescue Osha.

 

That was absolutely boring. More Jedi probably have to die now.

 

I liked that the seduction wasn't romantic. It was just about two people with similar histories and desires. Or at least that's what is was from Qimir's side.

Qimir got into her head very quickly. It wasn't about untapped power, or tricks, or having some ... weird unexplained ... force connection. She isn't trying to save his soul for no reason. He isn't trying to abuse or torture her into submitting. He wants someone powerful beside him.

Very interesting stuff.

Or they pin all on Sol and never look back. The Jedi don't believe a Sith is here. That's impossible. It doesn't even enter their thoughts. They believe a fallen Jedi is the reason. And they think Sol might be that Jedi.

 

In a oddly way i sort of loved this. It felt like you really did spend time with the characters and their motivations. The locations opened up and created a mystical ancient feel in general. Way to short again of course. A shame. But surely i am intrigued by what Sol has done and how Qimir got that scar and his backstory. He is a villain for sure, but definitely not a one dimensional one. Here he also got some some of the best lines written for the series i feel.

 

You didn't notice the way Osha was checking out nude Manny Jacinto?

Definitely this relationship is more than Master/Apprentice.

Qimir even tells Osha that her relationships with the Jedi were one sided. He knows that she wants connection, the kind she couldn't have as a Jedi.

Yes, they are def setting up a romantic/sexual connection here. That is crystal clear.
