This was like a greatest hits clip show playing before the sitcom season finale

What exactly was Mother Aniseya trying to do when Sol killed her? I’ve watched the scene a dozen times already and I’m convinced she’s attempting essence transfer. That black mist is heading straight for Mae.

Considering that we didn't see Mother Koril's body and the showrunner has said we'll see another Sith I'm guessing we'll see Sith Koril in the last episode. Sure she's not a Sith in the flashback but a lot can happen in 16 years.

Watching this episode made me forget that Qimir aka The Stranger has been a character in this show. For a while now I've thought that it would've made more sense for Mother Koril to be the big bad telling Mae to kill the Jedi, and watching this episode reinforces that feeling. Just makes more sense for the big bad to have a very personal connection to the Jedi that Mae was targeting, much more so than Smile-o Ren who got Mae involved simply because he wanted an acolyte of his own. Yeah it'll probably be revealed that The Stranger was green Jedi's padawan but that's not a direct connection to what the main plot of this season has been about.

This season ending with the death of The Stranger, Osha falling to the dark side and/or Osha and Mae merging and Mae/Osha turning evil and becoming the sidekick for Mother Koril who is totally still alive, seems like something that will happen.

Oh also, since we saw that Sol chose to save Osha over Mae in the flashback I think we'll see Sol sacrifice himself to save Mae in the finale. It'll be a weird muddled redemptive moment consider that Mae killed Sol's friends Indara and Torbin.

We’ll never actually find out for another 15 years. It’s the characters that count.

Homesick Tobin was pretty weak stuff.

As was the CG of the speeders. That’s when an editor has to grow a pair and cut the “high budget” shots.

Well Qimir being Mae's master can't be a coincidence.

I suspect if there is a season 2 we will find out the Sith were directly involved in the creation of the twins. Why or how, who knows.

I think this episode probably should have just taken place in Ep 3. Or perhaps even Ep 1 even.

The mystery of this show is somewhat artificial. And delayed for the sake of having a mystery. It’s only occurring because the main character doesn’t want to tell us the truth yet…and because we’re told the wrong or perhaps just incomplete version up front. There really didn’t to be any mystery at all for this show’s story to process in almost the same way.

But why does there have to be a Twist? We all new there would be a flashback episode we figured the Jedi would come out of this looking like the bad guys. But we didn't know exactly how it would play out. I thought it was cool seeing it all from a different point of view, really good directing!

I agree. Maybe with a film about how the engineering flaw was on made on purpose by the designer any fire would make the entire stone mining facility blow. Maybe said hyperspace disaster had done damage not previously detected. Whatever the cause, I still loved the episode.

I thought it was an excellent episode. It was a tragedy created by lack of understanding, which is the essence of all great tragedies. No one was really the villain here and personal motives and weaknesses led to violence.

The fire is clearly shown to run along the electrical wiring which itself runs all throughout the stone walls.

So what exactly did Indara do? She obviously killed all the witches by reversing whatever was happening to Kelnacca. But what was it?

I'm keeping up with this series but am definitely disappointed that this show hasn't focused on the Sith anymore than it has. This was the perfect opportunity to show what the Sith has been up to but instead we are getting Jedi fighting witches. And the one potential Sith we have we still barely know anything about.

It wasn't a Stone initially it was a book accidentally started on fire then a door control panel with electric wiring

All that death and destruction because Torbin was the kid at sleepaway camp that wanted to call his parents to pick him up was pretty hilarious.

Oh and I like how the reactor blew up in order to create a plothole for Mae to fall into.:p On a more serious note considering that the Jedi had nothing to do with the reactor blowing up, (despite people thinking that would be responsible) I guess that means the coven base would've blown up even if the Jedi had never shown up. So...Mae and/or Osha might've simply died or almost died due to a freak accident.

It seems to be that she severed Koril's essence transfer from her new host body. The other witches were attempting to bolster her with their own life forces but she attempted essence transfer and was forcibly exorcised from the body she was inhabiting. Perhaps the lifespan of someone in incorporeal form is really brief if not attached to a living being.

She probably tried to vanish into the thin air, like Mother Talzin. Because that's something everyone can do now, apparently.

The best part of this episode was the reference to the Hyperspace Disaster.

Something to consider...there are no Sith (in the series). All we have is Qimir saying the Jedi might call him Sith. But is he really? Or is he just a former Jedi (or just Padawan) using the Dark Side to get more powerful? And he doesn't say he wants and apprentice...he wants and acolyte.

Except the black mist that she evaporates into is moving directly toward Mae and that’s why Sol “kills” her.

Qimir could just be one of those guys who is wired wrong and made it pretty far in Jedi training before getting the boot and going off and doing his whole thing. Not truly a Sith...just a Dark Side user. Kind of like when Ventress first showed up and claimed to be Sith...but Dooku said "no you ain't".

As opposed to the actual Sith like Tenebrous, Plagueis, Sidious, et al...

I could bet money the showrunners wouldn't be able to give such a precise interpretation of that scene :p
