Darth Vader #4 (from 2017) was the first time we saw the Barash Vow with Jedi Master Kirak Infil'a. Darth Vader was tasked with killing this Jedi without a lightsaber.
In Darth Vader #5 when Vader defeats the Jedi, he bleeds the Kyber crystal and turns it red. It's represented visually artistic where it's more of a battle inside of himself.

The "they" would be Charles Soule.

I can see that you’re writing in English, yet the only words I understood were “Darth Vader” and “lightsaber” and “Jedi.”

The actual best thing about Star Wars is that no matter what happens when you think you've reached the dumbest moment in Star Wars, there will be a dumber moment that comes along to top it. It's the meta version of there always being a bigger fish.

I was genuinely surprised. If stupidity outdoing itself becomes the only truly original thing about the franchise I’ll probably be ok with that.

I still haven’t had a chance to watch the finale, but I have a feeling it won’t be as bad as is being made out here.

Wouldn’t it be easy to explain that he was working with his former apprentice to conduct these murders. Do they truly say that the murders were only perpetrated by Sol?

    Yep.
    Qimir ws Venestra's padawan
The whole explanation was very childish, very silly. To no one surprise.

I don't think it's bad in a universal sense of the word.

In fact, it's just bad if we forget it's a SW.

For SW tv standards it was above average.

Okay, but I better not watch this, and they leave it open as to whether Sol was working with Mae / Osha.

The fan base hyperventilated that the Sith would be revealed to the Jedi, and it turns out that every Jedi who encountered the Sith died.

Vernestra and Yoda know. Or at least Yoda knows whatever Vernie tells him.
It's better than Ahsoka. Darth Jason steals the show. He is a much better actor than season one deserved and improved every scene he was in. His watchful stare when Sol's lightsaber turns evil was the only good thing about that particular scene. He's not annoyingly egging OSHA on in a counterproductive Palpatinesque manner. The Sheevster could have taken a few lessons in effective persuasion from DJ.

That's why we know baby palpatine has Osha as his first mentor as they roam the galaxy together in what may well be its own spinoff show if not season 2. DJ would have smoothed out his style a bit. Given him some tact and subtlety.

You ever notice how every time something from the comics is pulled from it’s always the stupidest **** conceived by some workaday writer like Charles Soule or Tom Veitch? I’m on the record as not being a Jason Aaron fan but I never see him used to justify the dumbest ideas imaginable. Alan Moore wrote a couple of stories and the most they ever got was some omnibuses nervously categorizing them as strange, never to be referenced elsewhere. Hire Tom King to be the exclusive architect of Star Wars comics; since he’s a big name we’ll never see them referenced in other media again and I’ll never again have to see him ruining a character I like by making them a PTSD sufferer who is also inexplicably a colossal manchild, it’s win-win. Unless you like SW comics I guess, but you shouldn’t.

I will admit that I got excited for the "one canon" concept of bridging all the books, comics, and tv/movies together and then it never happened. The comics stories were mostly boring and uninteresting and I think I quit after a year or two of giving them a shot. The only comic book writer I read currently is Greg Weisman. I don't know anything that Charles Soule has written other than Star Wars but he seems like a nice guy and the Darth Vader run from 2017 did start out interesting as it gave us a conflicted character and not an OP one like we got in Rogue One (which I did like too though).

Ok, now I get what happened to me and Star Wars. I've been wondering what went wrong for 20 years now.

So I was all in until ROTJ came out right as I was graduating from high school. Then I was getting a few degrees and joining the workforce, entirely without an internet and with those stupid Motorola cell phones until Compuserve came along so that everything Star Wars that happened between 1983 and the release of the special editions is just a black box for me. I forgot about it until I had kids and needed to find out how much they would dislike the things from my own childhood (a lot).

Everyone who found Star Wars in that intercinematic era or whatever it's called has a completely different mindset and speaks an entirely different Star Wars language. I really should have thought this out a long time ago, but I rarely pay attention to anything so I hope you'll all forgive me.

I was actually wondering if Jason Mendoza knew Plagueis was there. Maybe he was trying to find out what his apprentice was up to. Sith take acolytes in preparation for killing their masters, right?

I promise you the writers don't know what a "vergence" is or why it matters that Mae and Osha are Force clones.

I think they know what a vergence is because they probably played KotOR2. It’s all recycled bull****!

Mae and Osha being "the same person" is just the explanation for why they still shared the same hairstyle after 16 years.

Even scarier than this is contemplating sharing the things you hate about Star Wars in the fear that they'll like it. As of now, I've told the Twins that they never actually made something called "Episode II"

This didn't make sense to me either. I guess Sol was going to shoot down the ship which would potentially kill Mae and maybe after hearing the story from last week Bazil felt sorry for her and didn't want Sol to hurt her.

In other words so the plot could happen. Either way, she ends crashing on Brendok and could have died. It made as much such as Rose crashing in Finn's ship at the end of TLJ to stop him from committing suicide.

Just fan theorizing but we know Anakin is the chosen one, doesn't have a father, and it's hinted at in ROTS that Plagueis could create life by influencing midichlorians. These witches could also create life with the Force, but they did not create the chosen one. Whatever power allows you to create life in this form probably split between two life forms rather than one, and we get Mae and Osha. I'd bet Plagueis is going to use them in experiments to figure things out.
