I'm probably going to go to some of the local comic shops, just seems to be a lot easier to me. I was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with this, or some advice.

 

The Rebelscum forums have a classified section. You have to register to post but it's free. We don't allow buy/sell/trade here.

If you go the eBay route don't put the figures up as one job lot - if people only collect certain characters (like me with Fetts) they won't want figures they don't collect mixed in.
Are there any toy fairs coming up near you? Maybe you and a friend or two could get a table at one and sell your unwanted figures.

Went to my local Phoenix Fan Fusion con this weekend. Got to see Ashely Eckstien and James Arnold Taylor in a panel. They were delightful. Didn't get autographs. Also Katee Sackhoff flew in for a day. Her panel was 100% Mandalorian - lol. Poor dear talked about how it takes 20 minutes just to get her in and out of the costume so she can pee.

I didn't go last year, other than the idiots at check in on Saturday insisting I couldn't bring my camera in ("They changed the rules only press can bring in cameras" - Me "It's for PHOTOS not video" - "No cameras." My sister took it back to the car (which was a hike to the garage) when she came back someone else was arguing and the stupid security people were like "Oh, I guess there's some confusion, it's only video cameras w/ extra microphones that aren't allowed'...GRRRRR!) Otherwise the con was great. I'm going to have to work on getting a blog back together so I can get press passes next year. Tickets are getting expensive.

My sister went down and got us autographs from Mary McDonnell, Michael Trucco, and Alan Ritchson. Mary and Michael got to sign some of our existing cast photos. Alan we had sign a JLA Smallville pic that we're hoping to get Tom Welling to sign some day.

 

Cool you met Anakin and Ahsoka from clone wars or their voices anyway COOL!!!!

Little jealous, not gonna lie

 

She was part of a Battlestar Galactica panel. Her hair is long and all grey. She looks fabulous.

 

I knew who she was on BSG. She also had her own show, Major Crimes which was a spin-off of the Closer (she was a big part, towards the end). I highly suggest you watch it.

I also watched Dancing With Wolves, cause I wanted to see her in it. I'm a big Marry fan!

Yay!! How are you doing? Here I am waiting if any day now for a check. Funny thing, you get a windfall and suddenly you’re not too sure you want to get those big ticket items after all! I don’t know what to do! I swore if ever I got a windfall I was buying the Queen Amidala statue from Lladró. But now not sure I want to spend $4,000 on it! I can’t believe I just said that!!!

 

Hey I am doing fine and I know about a sudden windfall I went nuts and bought a Bastilla statue from gentle giant but i have mostly been playing Hogwarts legacy for hours and Hours I am almost at 100 + I remember you said your Daughter was a Hufflepuff Thats my house too I hope she is doing well along with the rest of you family and friends.

 

We are doing pretty good. We had Covid for two weeks. Very happy to report I managed to take care of my father-in-law and not pass it on to him. The nurse was extremely pleased with that! He has severe COPD and is on oxygen and a brittle type 1 diabetic to boot! So was scary! Never used so much lysol in my life!!

kirby is very excited for our April Disneyland trip! As am I.

I'm 1 shelf short of being able to get my room back in order. Before I can do that I have a ton of stuff to clear out. I would like cash for it, but I think much will just go to Goodwill. I have a toy shop that I can bring stuff to in order to trade the in package extra stuff that I have.

Hopefully my shrine room can be back online this year after 4 years of chaos.

it was a crime we never got her action figure. I may get myself a custom Laura roslin and d’anna biers one day for Christmas or a birthday present — from me to me.

 

I'm never ready. Love the idea and vibe of the holidays, but struggle with the reality. Roll on January!

But I hope everybody reading this gets some cool Star Wars merch, at least. Did anybody find anything decent in the Black Friday sales?
