This looks fantastic, although Mon Mothma at a rave is throwing heavy "Matrix Reloaded" vibes. Could that base where the Cavern Angels X-Wings are taking off possibly be D'Qar?

 

The song choice felt a little out of place to me.

 

Music choice reminds me of the fan-made Sabotage trailer for Rogue One, which I think is the best trailer for Rogue One.

I cannot possibly be more excited for Andor's return. Mon Mothma having the worst day of her life at her daughter's wedding and letting all that anxious energy out on the dance floor is giving Beau Travail energy.

It's peak. Let's go.

This trailer is a perfect Litmus Test for the kind of Star Wars fan you're dealing with. If their first response was, "Is that an Avenger?!" they're the kind you need to back away from slowly.

(That was me. I said, "Is that an Avenger?!")

 

If Dancing Mon Mothma doesn't become a meme, I'm going to be disappointed.

 

Mon at the ball is giving serious Roaring 20s vibes.

Looks good! Very happy to be getting complete arc drops. The week-to-week release of season one really hurt the show for me initially.

 

The people I'm seeing online saying the trailer music shows Andor is ruining Star Wars... it's trailer music. Not likely to be in the show. Meant to get the attention of people who didn't watch Season 1. Take a deep breath.

 

We are on the verge of greatness. We are *this* close.

Great trailer and dropping it in arc bundles, which they did for the first three eps of the first series, is a very smart move.

-First Major Tom for Skeleton Crew and now this? Not even in a fake language this time. Starting to become a trend. Can't deny the lyrics fit though, very well.
-Similarly, overall tone is not what I expected, especially in comparison to the leaked celebration trailer for Andor season 2. Yet once again, I can't complain - I confess I have been feeling a bit beat down and helpless recently with all that is going on, so a more upbeat trailer on resisting tyranny is welcome, even if I am sure the show will still be gutting.
-That Dantooine? Certainly has a similar look and since Dantooine was almost featured in Rogue One I could see it being worked into the show, but it would be a bit weird for the Empire to have a presence on the same world as the main rebel base.
-Don't recognize the vehicle Andor blows up with the Tie's missile, but looks interesting in any case.
-Similarly, interesting looking bulldozer vehicle later on. Very curious about the context for that - factory heist?
-Dancing sad Mon Mothma. Going to jump on the speculation bandwagon that this is the day of her daughter's wedding in which someone will come to ask her for justice but not asking with respect or offering friendship.
-Andor and Bix blow up an apartment building it looks like. Empire fans are going to be thrilled to see rebels actually commit terrorism for once. ;p
-Gotta love Cavern Angels x-wings. Oh, and what looks like variant Aurore freighter
-The partially armored guys looked like Compforce at a first glance. Looking closer, I see a mix of guys dressed like Aldhani army troopers but in ISB colors and what look like Patrol Troopers with googles instead of helmets. So either rebels in poor disguises or some kind of ISB enforcement agents. (Neat, though part of me is kind of sad we won't see a live action version of the ISB armor from Rebels and Battlefront)
-That is a cool looking camera droid
-Those imperial riot cops get a new helmet that makes them look more like real world riot police.
-I am curious how much the various plotlines will come together in this season - will things largely be parallel like last time, or will Andor actually meet Mothma or Saw or someone?

In fairness I think that is most people here ;p

 

I've wanted to see Dantooine in live action for so long

 

I hope it is, it makes sense with the lead-up to ANH. I really don't know why they've never shown it in the new canon, and even got an epic "tease" in Rebels.

 

Hope that one of those three behind Krennic is Ronan.

 

Finally! A Star Wars project I'm actually excited for - looking forward to hopefully seeing Dantooine and more intrigue and rebellion!

These are Imperial Commandos, or the center guy is at least. There's a leaked 2025 Lego Minifig named an Imperial Commando that has similar armor (although the helmet isn't shown).https://brickset.com/sets/912503-1/Imperial-Commando

That minifig looks like the Imperial Supercommando from The Mandalorian season 3.

Kind of hilarious, considering how hard this trailer is saying, "We're a real show, not just streaming genre slop! Please give us a chance!" XD

 

It’d be pretty wild/funny if Ronan of all people was in this show. And the weird thing is, I can see Pablo Hidalgo slipping that in.
