Yes that's got to be the only place he'd be. I'm curious how he will be worked into the story as Cassian don't seem to have time to care for him and Brasso is gone, Bix will be busy replacing Cinta.

 

A droid being named B2EMO and being a sad robot is not a coincidence!

 

I don’t know if we’ll see him again. Maybe he’s one of the things Cassian loses along the way. Though it’s possible he finds him destroyed on Mina-Rau, and then integrates his memory into K2SO, which would go some way towards explaining the extreme loyalty K2SO has for him.

I hope we see B2EMO again one final time. Miss that lovable droid.

Is Cassian seriously not going to ever visit B2 or even at least holo-call him to say bye? For real, if Andor doesn't do it before the series ends, good riddance in Rogue One my guy.

And he has all his droid buddies there. That’s his end. Very sad that he won’t see Cassian again, but that’s life under a fascist government that persecutes immigrant families.

But at least he’s in a loving home with lots of droid friends.

While the original intent was for B2 to live the rest of his droid life with happy farmers who Brasso covered for, the reality is that Mina-Rau is likely now another Ferrix. You don't fly a stolen TIE Avenger from a Sienar test facility to shoot up a routine immigrant inspection on Mina-Rau without drawing serious attention. That isn't just typical, bomb throwing, rebel activity. The rebels had a TIE Fighter. After that, it became open season on interrogation at that hillside village. No more festive, harvest lunches. That place is now an outdoor prison.

But hey, maybe if nobody turned the droid in, Bix could go back there and get B2 after the battle of Endor or Jakku.
