Luthen had the hope the Rebellion was built on from the beginning. The leaders felt it, even though they didn't show it. Bothans died because of it. Mothma and Bail for being in the public eye yet secretly helping behind the scenes for it. Lonnie risked his neck and family for it. Nemik's manifesto was a blood pumping machine flowing life into the Rebellion for years after his death. Vel on her dedication despite having money and being spoiled. Kleya's consistent cover up made this happen without fault, without slips trips and falls...to all those soldiers who gave their life..May the Force be with you.

This show truly outdid itself from season one and will remain one of the best shows ever made. Not to be liked by everyone but with the music, sets, acting, directing and amazing writing it would be remiss to not say so.
Very happy Kleya survived, I'm intrigued on how she could help the Rebellion in the future. So was she the girl from Kanari? It's implied correct? And they just would never know. Crazy!
K2SO is a straight up hero droid. Melchi is a hero.
Only thing missing was Saw, the partisans and an X-Wing battle on way to Kafreen. But if this is BBY1 then Cassian is there for a whole year? Some time feels off here. Good to see the Imperials of the show get what they deserve. Just maddening. No major villians except Krennic yet the ones we saw were terrifying.
    Pao sighting! ...twice!!
    Bix with baby Casian!!

    Long live the rebellion!!

I.. legitimately didn't think that season 1 could be topped. Against all odds, season 2 not only managed but also firmly placed Andor into the top 3 of all Star Wars media for me.

    Actually speechless.

Also those ISB Tactical Officers looked absolutely rad

Why would he not do that? Would killing her not be for the benefit of the rebellion, as far as he was concerned there, in the moment? She's a pretty big fish. And why wouldn't he wanna take her down with him? Seems like something he would do. And then he could kill himself after, with her blaster even! Sure faster and could get the job done for sure.

Absolutely loved it. Man...that ending! Definitely not teary eyed! So damn good! I went into this last arc hoping that we'd get some good Luthen and Dedra stuff and these episodes did not disappoint. Every character had the perfect ending.

We just got some of the best characters in the entire franchise. My god. Cassian, Luthen, Syril, Dedra, just to name a few. This was a truly remarkable show.

No, this works great for everyone who banged on after Rogue One about how silly it made Vader and Leia look in their interaction aboard the Tantive. "We're on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan". "LOL, Princess. I just watched you fly off from the docking bay of the Profundity above Scarif like 2 minutes ago". Now, Leia's attempted alibi makes sense again.

All of the Andor finale and Rogue One occur BBY1. It's the Tantive's slow journey to Tatooine that takes a year.

    I'm angry.
I'm angry that we don't get more Andor.
Anyhow, a great "calm before the storm" episode.
Interesting to see how all the characters ended up. Lagret knowing what Partagaz meant by "collecting his thoughts." Partagaz knew it was better than ending up on Narkina 5 where Dedra eventually found herself.
Baby Andor and a great lead-in to Rogue One!

well I was partially right on Kleya and Luthen I either said they were partners or Father daughter He was her adopted Father! I cried at the end with Bix and her baby the baby will never see dad Casian. would be cool to see a backstory where the kid grows up to be a Jedi! Did anyone watch the entire credits to hear the Original John Williams music from Episode 4? I absolutely loved this entire show!

I got the impression Mon didn't like him anyway. plus like I brought up in weeks past there planet has arranged marriages and open relationships so it seems.

I feel like they stopped putting up a front about how they felt about their arranged marriage last season, tbh. Or, at the very least, after their daughter willingly entered into one herself.

He kills her and then what? He's stunned or taken in immediately and they get the intel out anyway. She's dead, but the Empire knows what he knows. He had seconds. He chose himself, as that's the only way to make sure the intel doesn't leave his body.

    Is this really being criticized?

I AM crying and I’m sure you are too! That was incredible! What an ending for Dedra. That… almost made me feel bad for her. So awful. But ultimately she deserves it. Everything leading up to Rogue One was incredibly well done.

BBY 1 is just the year it’s set in. That doesn’t tell us when in BBY 1 it takes place. It could be at the very end of BBY 1. Like December 31st, 44 BC would still be called 44 BC even though it’s only a day before 43 BC.

Great season. Only thing I am disappointed about is that they didn't mention how they found out about Jyn Erso. They didn't even mention Jyn in the season as far as I remember.

Also cool that the series gave Cassian a kid so the character will be able to live on in a way.

I love the fact that Cassian learns about the weapon but not the fact that it’s a planet killer because in Rogue One he’s genuinely shocked to hear that. The attention to details was perfect.

They're still a few weeks away from the start of Rogue One, which itself takes place over a number of weeks/months (If I remember correctly).

I kept half expecting Kleya and Vel to end up in a shootout where both kill each other because they're not in Rogue One lol. K2SO was fun, I'm now sad Meshi dies next episode on Scariff.

I really like what Bratt brought to the table but Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy, you could've been in this show man, ugh. I liked everything with Bail, just wish Smits was able to reprise his role.

I actually really like Dedra's ending. Death in some ways is the easy way out and for her to be the victim of the very fascist regime she supported seems very fitting. I would've liked her still deal a little with the loss of Syril but it's fine either way.

I also applaud the restraint on never revealing what happened to Andor's sister, just a reminder that his search for her was what kickstarted his fateful joining of the rebellion. Or is Kleya his sister???? :p

While its the "finale" in the sense that it's the final episode of the show on paper and a send off for the characters we don't see again, it really just operated as the set up for the real finale, Rogue One.

That was fantastic. My wife is absolutely livid over Bix with the baby… because it made her sad and reminded her of Hera with Jacen :p

I, on the other hand, am very composed and stable about the ending. This is a lie.

So, I haven't seen this yet, so I figured I'd rip off this bandaid:
Cassian and Bix are totally Poe's parents.
Unfortunately, people on Reddit and Tumblr are saying this, even though we met Poe's parents in books and comics.
But, I begrudgingly admit that it would have been a cool connection if it were true.
