I wonder whether we'll get the build up to the Jyn snatch? Melshi, K2 and two other Rebel special forces ordered by Draven to go to Wobani. They'll have to scout the area, know that Jyn is on that particular HCVw A9, who stops the turbo tank? We don't see Cassian, did he get back from the Ring of Kafrene and was on Yavin? Will any of the prisoners from Narkina 5 show up, they'd have more reason than anyone to join the Rebellion. And what about Lonni Jung, surely he's going to be found out but will Luthen have him killed before he can reveal all he knows about Axis?

    I can't wait!!!

Who will end up on the Death Star tonight? Dedra, Partagaz, Lonni, Lagret, some other Imperial bit player?

    Reunion? Like…Family Reunion…and Farewell?

    See what I did there?

But I would not be surprised if we see Hera, Chopper, R2, C3PO, Mothma, Dodonna, Pail Organa, Raddus, Andor, Melshi and maybe one or two members of Ghost Crew in a closing shot.

But I also think we see Kino Loy there.

    Is there a Wilmon thread?

This character's arc is a bit weird. At first it seems like he's going to become a disciple of Saw, then he's back to his falling in love with a local girl.

Not really sure what they're going to do with him. Did huffing the rhydo not really mean much? Or maybe that pays off now in the final arc?

Saw Gerrera in this series explains his characters downward progression mentally. He starts off somewhat rational still before gradually losing his mind. His apparenace in R1 is his conclusion because it's him at his deepest despair, where his own men are now lying to him and occasionally manipulating him. But Jyn brings him back just for a bit before he elects to flee no longer. He's satisfied that he did enough to damage the Empire. I believe Luthen Rael was, as well, even enough he dies sooner than Saw. Mon survived longer and endured Draven because by that point she was the central leader of the Rebellion. She's the benevolent and genuinely well-meaning dictator who opposes the monster, the totalitarian dictator: Emperor Sidious Palpatine.

Great performances from all of these actors, especially hers and Rael's.

Fantastic season across the board. This last arc was a thrill. It was tense watching Klaya infiltrate the hospital and then hide out, all while trying to pass on the intel.

Still amazed at the architecture. The filming locations. It all just seemed to alien and yet real.

Pairing this with Rogue One is going to have a VERY fun impact on Krennic - his menacing aura and coldly furious attitude all work well to make him a Big Bad for this show… but the little bit of stress he shows whenever his schedule is mentioned, the not quite ease with which he tries to joke about Tarkin, and the parting lines with Partagaz all dovetail beautifully into him walking up to the barracuda of Tarkin to his piranha, and then the shark that is Vader.

I almost don't know what to say. I can't believe someone made a Star Wars thing like this. I'll never think about the OT the same way again. Thank you Tony Gilroy and team, absolutely astounding achievement.

I of course couldn't resist starting Rogue One when it was recommended... .and that first scene with Andor on the Ring of Kafrene hits so, so much harder now. Andor->RO->OT is like the best thing ever now.

He's definitely the Vader to this level of Imperials. The way he's dressed, cape and all. The way he walks, almost sharklike. His gruff voice and movements around the holding cell with Deedra all speak of Vader-ish appeal. Maybe he's even copying the style knowingly as a mid-to-high level Imperial.

But yeah, once he gets up to the majors its a different story. All the Imperials are afraid of Palpatine, as well as He Who Must Not Be Mentioned.

What a final last 6 episodes huh??? The first 3 episodes focusing on unexpected sudden playoff MVP Kleya sending word about the death star and the suspense on whether she makes it out alive. Then to close out the final 3 episodes meeting a completely compelling new character in Jyn Erso, with an EPIC finale displaying an incredible space battle. Then to have everyone killed including our title character Cassian, WHAT? And VADER! What a cameo and brutal killing of rebels! :p

So is The 1 BBY title card wrong because the last Three episodes are like 48 hours BBY. Leads into R1 very well though!

And I guess Saw blew himself up when he was screaming and huffing bomb fumes like in between episode 9 and 10

Technically ANH starts in 1 BBY because 0 BBY happens at the end of the film. I know this has been the source of a lot of confusion.

I believe 1 BBY and 1 ABY are the same year and it changes at the Battle of Yavin, unless they changed how it works.

Basically the thing to remember is that years are always labeled in whole numbers. There is no such thing as “.001 BBY” even if that’s where we are on the timeline

Also, if BBY/ABY works like BC/AD dates in the real world, then there would be no year "0 BBY/ABY", because the calendar would leap directly from 1 BBY to 1 ABY when Luke blows that thing and goes home.

this is one of the few times, where something i got really hyped for, did not disappoint me in anyway.

This season was all that i hoped it would be, and more.

i really think this series is probably the best thing Lucasfilm has put out since Disney took over. and i have loved a lot of stuff they've done.
but this series really was just a thrill every single episode for me.

everything in this series is on-the-level. the writing, the acting, the details, everything...
can't wait to rewatch the heck out of this.
