Edit: I saw someone remade the visuals in the new Oblivion Remastered, which shows its enduring legacy. Need to play that soon, once I’ve wrapped up SW Outlaws. I just finished the Hondo DLC yesterday.

Yeah exactly, it's almost stereotypically late 60s (which makes sense since his campaign was in 1968) but it has such a charm and with genuinely nice vocals and energy

I have such great titled playlists as "flames" for new songs I consider adding to my overall music playlist

"Lmao", a playlist for random meme clips I think are funny

"Inspiration" for songs that give me an idea for music composition

And a playlist specifically with songs that hold sentimental value to me which is titled "my whole heart"

I knew that Disney and other animation studios had ties with politics at the time, but never knew they had that much influence (excluding the WWII cartoons )

That whole campaign sounds like it was crazy to live through, Eisenhower was like a top 5 most famous guy on the planet because of WWII, and then was the first campaign to have modern style campaign ads, and animated by Roy Disney of all people

That would be like if someone as famous as Taylor Swift was also an acclaimed military general and then ran for president with ads straight up made by Scorcese or Tarantino or something

Same. I dread people asking me about my favourite music. I always seem to get a real awkward, "Oh, okay. That's... cool, I guess?"

Oh, my friends, you're missing out. I know it'll be highly unlikely in the wake of Sonic X Shadow Generations, but I was really hoping Shadow the Hedgehog would get a proper remaster (or better yet, a full remake) at some point. It's such a wildly bonkers game, but it's also ludicrously bold and creative, with a compelling non-linear story to boot. Certainly doesn't deserve its reputation as a "terrible" game, that's for sure.
