ST Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

Sounds like a video game title.

 

It's a better title than Attack of the Clones at least.

 

Ok Title. Don't really feel any strong way about it

 

Pretty bad title IMO.

Interesting that there's no mention of Episode VII. What I expected really given that VIII and IX are clearly going to be very different stories and they don't want a formal trilogy.

 

It's not the meaning of it that I have a problem with, it's the way it just sounds clumsy.

 

Yeah that is weird they didn't say the full title is ep vii.
Disney misguided marketing plan?

 

As with TPM, AOTC, ROTS, ANH, ESB and ROTJ......it will make sense after seeing the movie.

I guess this title was a half an hour decision

 

Pretty weak title... Most of the Star Wars film titles evoke the Saturday morning adventure serials that Lucas grew up on. This sounds like an EU novel, or the next sequel to the Force Unleashed.

Force Unleashed III: The Force Awakens

 

Sounds about right.

 

Revenge of the Sith is the second best title in the entire series behind 'Star Wars'.

 

Terrible name.

 

I like it. It sounds like the other titles, and it's in keeping with the three word titles of the first films in the previous two trilogies. I'm just very curious as to why they didn't include "Episode VII' in their title announcement? Do they just assume we know it's there, or are they ditching titles in official promotional materials, even though it'll be included on the opening scrolls, like with The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi? Because it actually took me about five seconds to fully register what it meant.

At the very least it's the 6th best title as nothing could ever be worse than "Attack of the Clones".

I like it. I think that, if the Jedi haven't been around for 30-35 years, the Force could very well (re)'awaken'

 

I think the graphic is a little clumsy in that it breaks how you read it but saying it a few times in my head, yeah I dig the name.
