To answer a question posed in the story; "are they really going to use Tatooine for an official TFA announcement, if the planet is not going to be in the movie?". Yes, they could use Tatooine in the advert associated with their EPVII appearance/announcement, even if (and I mean IF) Tatooine is not in the movie.
Tatooine in the advert could just be there because it's synonymous with SW and this appearance is about SW. That way nothing is leaked... just a thought on the opposing side of the story. Gotta see things from all angles.

I think its Tatooine. It explains why Han is operating in the area.

The only real counterpoint to the alternative has been Tatooine moons in concept art or only one sun appearing. Since, they have put placeholders for various things: its entirely possible they did that for Tatooine as well.

The story said because it looks like Tatooine and it's on a TFA panel advert then Tatooine MUST be in the film.
I countered with they could use Tatooine on a TFA panel advert and Tatooine STILL could not be in the film.

I did not say it was not Tatooine.

When we are looking at rumours, and trying to put clues together, we have to look at things from every angle and not just blindly accept everything that is written.

(Although, I really could prove I'm not Tatooine )

 

it doesn't matter to me if it is or isn't. it would make sense to start out a new series in a familiar place. i don't really care.

Never had any doubt it's Tatooine. Of course it is.

 

I mean I still its possible that it may NOT be Tatooine. I at one time thought it may not be. But, most of the info that has been leaking in lately makes me think otherwise now.
