Daredevil can "see" using his radar sense, likely similar to how a Jedi intuits/"sees" with the Force, but it doesn't mean he won't miss actually seeing. It would probably an instance where something that might make Luke a more adept warrior, or more in tune with or reliant on the Force, requires him to give up one of the senses that he probably would rather not lose, something that's a part of his human experience. But, like DLB and others have said, it's also probably a load of bunk anyhow.

By the way, the rumor is especially funny when you consider the reason Oedipus stabbed his own eyes out.

Because he realized he slept with his mother and killed his father.

Luke also killed his father in the sense that he helped destroy Darth Vader. And he had the hots for his sister.

So I think this is just a joke based off of the Leia thing.

But seriously, if he was blind, it might mean, via Oedipus, that Luke has gained some kind of forbidden, traumatic knowledge he shouldn't possess.

 

I feel like we should start a petition now for more Luke screentime in episode 8.

Yes but I don't think paper towels should have any old print. Fans have come to expect certain things from paper towels and the powers that be should be held accountable if they're not. Everything I'm hearing about these paper towels isn't how I envisioned. And now Disney and LuKKasfilm want to tell me that my old paper towels aren't any good? Everything I'm hearing about these new paper towels sounds stupid. Why can't the print be exactly the same only with more paper towels on the roll? Also Darth Plagueis
