I actually might see "Snoke made all of this up" idea as something some people who attended the screening werent comfortable with in those rumours.

 

One thing I notice about these “leaks” is the resistance plot is always boring. It’s like because we’ve gotten no footage of it, people just come up with the most basic plot elements. My eyes glaze over when reading the descriptions. If RJ is as good as everyone says, he should have something unexpected in store for us in the parts of the movie that have been completely hidden from us.

Exactly right. I think people are going WAAAY overboard with the lore speculation about Luke and Rey’s storyline, and way simplistic with canto bight.

 

It's so weird the things they just gloss over. "Finn and Rose go to Canto Bight and break DJ out of jail." Well, that was easy. I'm sure there's no memorable scene or action setpiece there, they just walk in and grab him.

 

It sounds like Snoke and Kylo capture Finn and Rose, and Rey will jet off of Achto to save them. Empire redux

 

Didn't Rian say just now that we would see a new lightsaber color?

Probably the reason people just gloss over the Canto Bight stuff is due to the lack of interest it appears. We have had a few snippets (spoiler and official) but seems that no one has bothered trying to fit them into a feasible story. We 'know' of about a dozen things that happen there yet no one seems to want to join the dots.

 

Yup, most "leakers" basically create the same structure: battle of dqar ->luke and rey train -> rose and finn on mission ->KoR attack Luke and Rey ->Snoke's flagship -> Crait

Because all of that they got from the rumours and trailers. But thats the longest movie in Saga. In AotC, second longest movie, a bunch of stuff happened. Just a tons of it. Im pretty sure there will be much more sequences we never heard about in TLJ.

p.s. partially thats why i liked that "leaker" with Whills flood on Ach-To - it has interesting underwater sequence i probably never read about before in any other fakes. And it sounds like there is no red flags.

 

Yep that is fan fiction nonsense. If that was Snoke's true background he would have known to look for Luke there.

 

I like the flood mythology stuff. Nice touch. But much of the rest of it smells off.

 

Rose being executed on the Supremacy is beyond doubt it seems anyway.

I'm 100% sure it's 100% BS.

I say that and it'll all end up being true.

 

We know Rose makes it to Crait and we’re pretty sure Crait is post-Supremacy.

In his own outline, the battle of Crait is after Rose has been executed on the Supremacy.

So even if in the film the Supremacy comes after Crait (and I don't think it does) then that in itself would prove his outline is fake.

 

All these posts bickering over the scene order. And still nobody knows.

I love it. Lucasfilm was brilliant at the no-spoiler game this go round.

 

Me too, and I just don't get people being snipey at each other over how a film may or may not go when we've had pretty much 0 leaks that really give us a clear timeline.... *I mean any of these scenes from the trailers could be cut and our idea of what goes down would completely change.

 

So is there a consensus that the leak is a fake? We reached the point in time where Im scared of reading anything tagged as spoiler

 

Can't stop myself from thinking that the big "I am your father" moment in TLJ is the revelation that Luke, Snoke and Kylo are allies and work for a common goal, whatever that may be.

Maybe it's the TLJ villain poster and the again mentioned fact that Snoke isn't a Sith, which means the rule of two doesn't matter...

 

That Reddit leaker is also saying that he hasn't actually seen the movie, just that he knows the story.

That's a red flag for me.

these are pretty unequivocal terms...

 

With all the speculation on the color of Rey's light saber, why no discussion on how she gets it? To become a Jedi, even a Padawan, you have to make your own saber, from a kyber crystal you find yourself and some parts. Since TLJ begins right where TFA left off, she'd have to make her own at some point to be a real Jedi (assuming she becomes one and doesn't cut off her training like Luke did in TESB). Is that where the cave comes in? Or do they go off-planet to find her crystal? Crait?
