Is it fair to say then that he is the only one of the recent Reddit leakers who has some credibility?

Also, reading these last few pages just makes me desire a trailer more so that we stop rehashing the same points over and over again.

 

The one who mentioned Kylo's helmet being back and movie moving towards Rey v Kylo seemed most credible.

 

Reddit is very much poop mountain for original reporting but there is the very rare gold to be found. They sadly get tarred with what makes up the vast majority of fake 'leakers'. If xyz gets anything wrong, it's probably due to human error and not because he's making stuff up.

So we’re back to square one, which means “Ben” flying the Falcon redeemed and saving the day is out and the climax is likely still Rey v. Kylo 3.0. Thank goodness at least on the Falcon part. I have negative desire to see “Ben” flying Han’s Falcon after what he did to Han. The Falcon belongs to Chewie, and next to Lando and his daughter. “Ben” doesn’t need to go near it.

Yes Temiri can still be right about a few things, but obviously s/he was really getting into leading people on and had no interest in just posting the facts of what s/he did know (if anything). This makes him/her spoiler scum.

Interesting that he wasn't totally making everything up... And it will be interesting to see what was fairly accurate versus what was misunderstood... Much like Kylo being on Ahch-To in TLJ.

 

As is the problem with some leakers. They get really basic info like location usage, prop usage, actors seen together etc. however they can't help themselves and thus you get "Luke and Keri's character are rey's parents".

 

I just don't understand why. It's lying to people. I guess then they feel more important and more people "like" them. Or it's fun to sew the chaos. I am just too boring for such things. Though I really just feel for how being lied to sucks. Give people the facts and let them do the speculation, I say.

I'm intrested in young Luke flashbaks and Ben flashbacks. I hope kights or ren is still true and Kerri being tied to Luke is some way.

 

Mate, people make up whole professional resume's and lie through their teeth to get jobs they aint qualified for. Embellishing star wars spoilers to get internet points and attention is hardly a stretch. For some they completely make up "leaks" because they want to be a part of a community, even if it's for like 10 minutes. Some (usually 4chan), think the trolling is the prize. Others get some info but have a compulsion to take it "one step further". Pretty much in every aspect of life someone will do this. I seriously doubt we'll get every "spoiler leakers" to stop.

 

I definitely hope the flashback stuff is true.

New post on Reddit from this "leaker". He seems to have a strong bias towards Rey Skywalker, with Keri Russel's character being her mom and apparently dying during childsbirth. He admits having taken some liberties with his spoilers.

 

I can believe that Mark and Kerrie has scenes together and the scenes of a de-aged Mark. Even Rey visiting Tattooine i can get behind. What i don't is this childbirth scene especally if it confirms the Skywalker theory. I could buy she had a child Luke send her away to a nice couple who become junk dealers.

 

Also should be noted that the mod-approved leaker suggests they have no clue if Hamill and Russell shot scenes together but their discussion would crew would make that unlikely. Basically "Reywalker" is the overstretching part of the original "leak" and has no basis in hard facts. The rest is simply down to whom you believe.

The correct part of the leaks (supposedly) are:

1. Jordan might be used for two worlds - one being tatooine.
2. Kylo helmet usage decreases as film progresses.
3. There may be heavy use of flashbacks/dreams

 

The Skymom theory will be short lived as well, since at Celebration we will probably know her name and her role in the story.

 

You know what? Regardless of these leaks, fan expectation, how much I love TLJ and what Johnson was going for I have a sudden feeling that they’re going to make Rey a Skywalker.

I don’t know how, I feel that it will be convoluted but I as of right now I just have this gut feeling that that is the route they’re going to take...somehow. Execution is key I guess.

Not sure if I like it but we’ll see how it pans out.

 

Well... Perhaps Rey is also a "convergence of the Force" like Anakin was? Perhaps Keri was a Jedi padawan, sent away by Luke for her attachments and pregnancy, similar to Anakin/Padme/Obi-Wan secrecy? Perhaps Luke and Keri are her parents?

In any case, Rey must've been born so if the leak is true what's the significance of the scene to the story? What did Luke - and importantly Kylo - know about Rey? Why abandon her? To protect or banish? Was Luke Force-searching for her while on Ach-To?

Luke's question "who are you?" may be an effort to uncover whether she is likely to go Darkside rather than literally a question about not knowing. Do we believe Kylo's story of her parents?

With this possible reveal, does Ep.IX and the ST seem more complete and intriguing?

 

i actually think snoke's explanation is fine to keep rey a random. A Skywalker (Ben) became the dark-side force user, to match that the light created / used as a vessel etc etc a person that would be their match. "Darkness rises...and light to meet it". The Skywalker-Solo was the darkness and the new hero is just the next in line. The biggest concern i have is that they are going to make Ben turn back so the movie ends with a "good skywalker".

 

Why would Rando Rey need to go to Tatooine?

The essential problem is the need for some to be Random so that Ben can be saved as the only Skywalker.
