That looks awesome. Why do all the good books with legit lore have to be "officially" aimed at kids? I can guarantee half the kids that attend the preschool I teach at will appreciate the interactive parts, but not the lore.

Considering the type of stories Studio Ghibli likes to tell I would be surprised if they were involved.

Anime and Star Wars have finally come together.

 

Didn't they dabble in that once. I thought Genndy Tartakovsky did anime in one form or another.

 

Well, CN did have a month long Miyazaki marathon about 10 years ago. Was that ever awesome.
They aired:
Nausicaa
Spirited Away
Princess Mononoke
Castle in the Sky

Great times!

 

It was. Thematically, the style reminds of Samurai Jack.

Now there is a show for the ages.

 

But, my question was... didn't that qualify as SW doing anime?

Edit: Oh, and BTW, it has my all-time favorite Jedi: Sha'a Gi.

 

Well sorta. It was in the anime style certainly, but was not animated by a Japanese anime studio, nor were any anime directors (Akira Toriyama, Naoko Takeuchi, Clamp, Miyazaki-sensei) attached to the project.

 

He's no Ima-Gun Di from the clone wars, but he's a close second haha

Great names, I bet the writers had a lot of fun thinking those up.

Take Shostokovich for example. On Earth, we know him as a Russian composer from the late Romantic period. You can break up the name to create the character: Imperial commander Shasta Kovitch.
