    Speaking of Harry Potter, I didn't know until recently that Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy, also voiced the Basilisk in Chamber of Secrets when Harry was hearing it around the castle.

    yes the one in number 2, right? i think i saw a picture of his skeleton or something, and he was a big 'un. is he mean like nagini, tho?

    tbh i usually don't make it past the friendly one in the first movie that says thankssssssssssssssssss - which is not a good indicator of my chances.. :p

    @heels1785 possibly! My fear of them started when I had a run in with some as a kid.

    I have to FF or close me eyes during the HP snake parts. :_| Don’t get me started on the anxiety that the reptile building at the zoo causes me. [face_worried]

    raiders doesn't bother me that much, those are small snakes. the scene is creepy, but nothing like the big ones that talk and smile and eat people and stuff. the one in the video game god of war freaks me the hell out, and he's supposed to be nice. i hate kaa from the jungle book in all forms, and cobra jafar from aladdin gave me nightmares as a kid. i was relieved that they made him into a bird for the live action film.

    No cobras!!! Ughhhh!! There’s still one on the lam in my area. Some moron had one in his home and it ran away.

    The Raiders scene is really uncomfortable. But I fight through. Watching a film with snake in the title is likely not happening. :p

    I've been replaying the Myst series lately while in the middle of my Thunderbirds rewatch, and it just clicked that the common factor between both is 'large industrial machinery doing cool things' :p

    It was retconned in one of those Fantastic Beast films that Voldemort's pet snake was in fact a Romanian lady who could simply turn into a snake (or was trapped as one? I never saw that movie). If you read or watch the OG HP movies or books you won't find a single hint of shapeshifting snek lady whatsoever :p

    Though a quick search on google images there are some very strange people on deviantart...and just leave it at that :p

    I have started to use the stair climbing machine at my schools gym over the last two days including normal stair climbing I have gotten over 100 flights of stairs each day. Pretty good.

    many way I have my first presentation of the year today for my night class. Wish me luck

    Her background is that she's cursed with a condition that will one day cause her to permanently change into a snake. As of the second Fantastic Beasts movie, she could still control the condition like she was an Animagus.

    I finally, after four(!) aborted attempts, managed to sit down and watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. It was super sweet and fun, the cast of characters is always so engaging to watch. Cosmo the space dog is my new hero:
