So the fam and I are discussing taking a trip to Saudi Arabia and Egypt to see the Pyramids. Anyone ever been to either one? Any advice?
Well we got a travel brochure in the mail, and it has a lot of fun things to see or do. However, I gotta admit I never thought I'd even discuss going there, but here we are.
That's a fine release date for Bluth of Arabia. Also, it gives you plenty of time to talk someone else on here into going with you.
It's crazy that they can simply tell you "sorry from tomorrow you're unemployed". October sounds a good date for Egypt. Saudi Arabia really does not intrigue me even slightly, though I admittedly know little about its touristic attractions.
For Saudi, you can go one of two ways. If you have a big budget, you can live like an elite, enjoy imported sex workers and Johnny Walker Black. however, if you want to get a taste of every day people, be sure to catch a matinee of “these teens are being publically beheaded by the state because they’re gay”
The company I mentioned that took a couple customers from us have already taken on two more and I assume are after the others. And I have already touched base with them and if it is as good as is sounds I'll be working again some time this week.
Well. I guess I still have a foot in the door but they are waiting on a couple of meetings this afternoon. I am to call them back tomorrow morning and if all goes well with those meetings they'll take me on. Otherwise he said they were at capacity which was odd to hear.
New idea. There is a Swift terminal 20 minutes away that is also a driver training center. So all they would have to do is retrain me for my A that I already have, and give me a day job. I am waiting on the phone but sheesh they are taking all day.
best wishes for a great new job VLM. Hopefully someone out there is not an idiot and will hire you immediately.
Was told at work yesterday that hours would be cut some this week, including today, a day in which we get time & half... hell of a "coincidence".
That's on my bucketlist for sure. It is also the last thing on the list, just in case it is the last thing I do.
'Twas my 9th anniversary at Target yesterday, besties, which also means I've been there longer than the time spent at Walmart... .
