Don't knock carrying a Blaster. It saved Obi Wan in ROTS, and in Kenobi (I like that blaster he had in the show) and Kyle Katarn lived by his Bryar. Plus, it's hard to be called a Jedi when using a Blaster like everyone else. He may not even still have a Lightsaber in the show.

And his crossdraw screams Kyle Katarn lol

 

Skeleton Crew could be multiple seasons unless it flops it sounds like.

 

I'm not counting on anything till I see it, there have been talks of a new show picking up where this leavbes off, so I'm not sure how it will be continued

 

Well rumor is that they might just do a show about Jude Laws character instead of series 2 of sekeleton crew.

At least thats what scoopers are claiming the listing Star Wars: Pirates is on production weekly

 

I like the idea of an Order 66 survivor becoming a pirate (assuming he's an Order 66 survivor.) I'd a love series about that kinda character, especially if they're morally gray, although I don't get that from Jude Law's character based on what I've seen since he's helping children, seems more like a "heart of gold" type character but we'll see. If he's like a Captain Jack Sparrow (in terms of morality, not quirkiness) I'd be alright with that.

 

Seems possible to me that he will be somewhat similar to John Silver from Treasure Planet - initially having secret selfish goals, but ultimately doing the right thing.

Maybe so, if Jod was the previous pirate leader before being betrayed.

 

He looks more like a Bluto to me.

Edit: I forgot they're already here thanks to Baker's involvement with the Cantina scene.

 

The werewolf/wolfman character looks okay I guess, but my issue with him is it's kinda on the nose and a familiar horror trope design. I didn't like Karkarodon for similar reasons...it's too Earth-influenced IMO if you get what I'm trying to get at. Don't care for those kind of designs much.

 

I get that. The shark people are the absolute worst designs.

But as wolf man is A New Hope design, I can forgive it.

 

Star Wars is full of whacky designs and i hope we see a live action shark man

 

I still think Jude Law’s character is going to be Corran Horn like @TCF-1138 originally speculated and that the name he’s using is his cover.

If he is Corran, maybe Patty's Rogue Squadron movie has been delayed to integrate it with SC. Fingers crossed...

 

Preferably with a good CGI/practical effects.

IMO, Tamson was a good villain because of combo of his appearance and sheer ferociousness. Hope that Brutus will be, well, a brutal antagonist.

 

I'd personally rather seen it done with bad CGI/impractical effects, but that's just me.

 

I also prefer that the movie be awful, with horrendous CGI, laughably stupid visual and sound effects, terrible acting, atrocious cinematography, embarrassing writing, and abysmal music.

 

Instead of practical effects, I want practical jokes. Instead of CGI, I want TGI (Typewriter Generated Images)
