Andor Andor Season 2 Discussion (Spoliers Allowed)

I didn't mind the music...real emphasis on the revolution and commentary on our own world.
We will get a longer trailer with more star wars music later... bring it on indeed..love the cornfield planet..dantooine or lothal??

 

Politically commentary wise I think this season will hit much harder than the first which I am excited about

 

Yeah. I meant in this case it works for me. Usually it does not. This was just fun. And really makes it feel more personal.

 

People have said that Andor doesn't feel like Star Wars but honestly that doesn't bother me. What it feels like is a well written, well acted show aimed at adults and I find that very appealing. Can't wait for more of this!

 

I'm not the biggest Andor fan, but I'm excited. Krennic and KSO2. I'll definitely show up for that. How easy would it have been to slip in Agent Kallus?

I think it's safe to say that this season is going to be just as fantastic as the first one

 

Not happy they are doing three episodes a week. Wish we had one episode week

 

Need to know what jam Nicholas Britell cooked up for this scene.

 

Think of it as a new Star wars film each week

 

I’d rather have 30 to 50 minutes a week

 

Then watch 30 to 50 minutes a week.

 

I wonder how long the episodes will be .. I think about 45...so each arc will be a movie

 

Andor is one of the few series that didn't have the issue of short episode lengths. Only one episode from season 1 clocked in under 40 minutes.

 

I probably won’t watch all three episodes on day one. Spacing them out throughout the week seems ideal. That way I’m effectively watching one episode every 2-3 days.

 

OMG, 3 Episodes every Tuesday night I can't wait Star Wars is BACK... DON'T CHOKE ON YOUR ASPIRATIONS DUDE.

No it defeats any enjoyment I get out of the 1 episode a week. I like 1 episode per week because then we can talk about it for longer that’s it.

plus I cannot avoid spoilers for the life of me

 

you can still watch one episode per week, nothing is preventing you from doing that

 

Star Wars geeks love Andor. Normies fall asleep on Andor I tried to convince casuals at work to watch Andor but they said it is not Star Wars. The empire strikes back and mando are Star Wars to them...

 

Hope you're right. That trailer felt a bit desperate with all the "critics loved it" taglines and it almost felt a bit Guardians of the Galaxy wink at the camera esque towards the end. The dance scene didn't feel right but I understand we have very little context. I just hope Gilroy didn't get forced into making a more appealing series for general audiences and it truly is Andor s2.

 

I think they really want people to watch it which they didn’t at least compared to other stuff like Mando and book of boba fett and kenobi.
Although if I recall it had similar numbers as Ahsoka.

 

Its new Star Wars so there will be something in it for everyone to complain about love.
