Thanks for the compliments on my found poetry.

    Week 10

    Word Count: About 372

Fleet Admiral Gial Ackbar watched as a cascade of TIEs poured out from space, seemingly from nowhere. It was his privilege to call out "It's a trap!"

But panic did not overtake him. He remembered his life to this point. His support of Prince Lee-Char during the Clone Wars. Being an interpreter for Moff Tarkin. Joining the Rebellion. Rising in the ranks to Admiral of the Rebel Fleet.

Then suddenly a large Frigate was destroyed. An incoming radio transmission from Lando Calrissian said. "That blast came from the Death Star. That thing's operational!"

Ackbar was about to order a retreat, when Lando assured him "We won't get another chance at this, Admiral. Han will have that shield down. We've got to give him more time."

Admiral Ackbar strengthened his faith and his resolve.

Then they soon began direct assaults on Imperial Star Destroyers.

Ackbar remembered being stranded on the planet Daluuj and being rescued by Han, Luke and Leia. Hopeless situations didn't deter him.

Lando Calrissian thought about his life-of working briefly for Dryden Voss with Han and Beckett running coaxiaum, of losing the Millennium Falcon to Han when Han caught him trying to cheat at Sabaac, of the old Tibanna gas mines on Bespin, of betraying Han and Leia, of redeeming himself by attempting to rescue and then actually helping to rescue Han.

Now he sat piloting the Millennium Falcon again.

Suddenly the shield of the Death Star was down.

"I told you they'd do it!" he said to his co-pilot, Nien Nunmb.

After they flew into the superstructure of the Death Star and knocked out the main reactor, the Millennium Falcon shot out of the Death Star in a huge vault upward, then the Death Star exploded.

As the Ewoks and Rebels, Hera Syndulla, Rex, Luke, Han, Leia and Lando celebrated, Lando clapping in time with the music, Lando thought of how good it was to be a hero after all his life of being a con man.

And he was glad to see his friends once more.

Admiral Ackbar contemplated the whole days' happenings. Would he be remembered for his role in this battle? He doubted it. But he was content.

They had won against the dreaded Empire.

But Ackbar knew that evil would likely rear its evil head again in the future.

But for now the galaxy could rest.

Ben Solo was sixty and two years old now. His wife, Rey, surprised him with a birthday party. All his friends from the Jedi and Resistance were there-even the aged Ahsoka Tano, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren and even the very much alive and living Hondo Ohnaka. Master Klon's birthday gift was an old analog chrono. Hondo gave him a case of tube socks-no questions asked about who he must have filched them off of-he'd be much too hurt. There were many other gifts, and the cake was so rich and creamy. Later that night, before they retired for bed, Rey gave him her gift.

He could tell it was a very thick book from the look and feel of the gift. He liked books. He unwrapped it and it was an old, old paper book, not a holobook.

    The Diary of Coryik Malmar

    Logs 300-400

"How many logs did this man have?" Ben asked.

"The man went on to be a great Jedi thinker and philosopher, who ended up getting married later in life, and having a lot of children," Rey said. They say he kept Journals all his life."

    "Have you read this?"

"I read some of his earlier Journals before this." She said.

"I'll read some of this to you." Ben said.

    "Tomorrow, we'll start." Rey said.

The next Day, Rey and Ben had finished Council Meeting and a light luncheon, when they sat in a hoversofa at home.
The book lay open on Ben's lap. He had been reading reading silently for quite some time.

"Ok, we'll pick up here," he said to Rey.

    "LOG 330 Entry 35
Someone once said, 'There is always madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.'

I'm going to take some dietary supplements now"

"Hm. Short entry." Ben said. "But thought-provoking" Rey commented.

    "Entry 36

Last night I was at a party that I left around 0900 Hours and then I went home, then to Roop's house, where I watched more of The Holonet The History of Clone Force 99 about the famed 'Bad Batch,' and also chatted on an open comm channel for a while listening to and playing music. I helped a woman with a Theological question also and set her mind at ease about something. Also I showed Roop old videogames on the holonet that he remembered playing from yesteryear.

0907 Hours the next day I'm watching something on the Holonet about Life Day.

I have been studying the Mind and thinking and reading holobooks and browsing the Holonet on the subjects Thinking and the Mind, and I've been taking plenty of notes."

"Maybe we should do that ourselves, dear," Ben paused from reading and commented over to Rey.

"Yes, that would be a worthwhile pasttime," Rey conceded.

"...We'll pick up here "Entry 38

I work Centaxday and Benduday from 01000 Hours to 0200 Hours.

    01101 Hours
I'm sitting in the Church of the Force.
The Minister said 'Don't believe me just because I said it, but dive in there for yourself'.
I am very glad he said that.

A Minister got me this nice black Marble Notebook for Life Day at my behest. I just spent a while writing in it what I had recorded in 'LOG 330' for the last four days' worth of material.

    ENTRY 39

No gaming today. Why game every day?"

"Hm," Rey said "A quaint entry."

    "ENTRY 40

In my dream, a Minister of God severely chastened, rebuked and corrected me, then the God of the Force stared into my eyes, then kissed me on the mouth, smiling.

01232 Hours I am eating fried legumes.

01250 Hours I'm eating a bread and nut-paste and oil meal.

    1353 Hours I'm eating waterberries.

After a shopping trip, I went to Roop's, talked with him for a few minutes as we caught each other up on our lives, then came home and will now browse the Holonet.

I made a shopping list for tomorrow's shopping trip..

    *outdoor cooking supplies
    *spice cream
    *Milk
    *Juice
    *7 bags of instant grain.
    *Noodles - 2 Boxes
    *Diary
    *Pasts Sauce
    *Various Soups
    *Cheeses.
    *Ookies.

    1822 Hours

I ate a four-egg omelette and took my dietary supplements.

I'm such an anomoly in life. I don't fit in anywhere."

"Let's pause here and take this up another time" Ben said.

    "Lets" Rey agreed.

Two weeks later, after a tough mission, Rey and Ben reported to their fellow Jedi and Katosondi Masters in Council. Then they went home and ate supper. This time Rey opened the book and read,

    "Entry 41

I just watched The History of The Clone Wars: The Report Concerning the gods of Mortis by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano on flatscreen on my tele-network.

I'm listening to a Mystery Story on an audiobook recording, as I write more of my 330'th Diary.

My friend Volx was here for a few or several hours and we talked a lot about quite a few things and played a non-gambling card game. We also listened together to some holovids on the holonet talking about the History of the First Galactic Civil War (Rebellion vs. the Empire). Volx was in the lead in the cardgame, and we agreed to possibly continue the game later, on another Day.

I am liking this Mystery Book.
Mystery is satisfying to read, I have always liked a good crime story, or court drama.

I read a bunch of Scriptures."

"The Scriptures of the various planets are good." Ben said. "Coryik mentions reading from them a lot, and even quotes them. My favorite quote of his is "laughter does good like a medicine".

"Oh, that's a very good one, husband." Rey said "Or God my Lord is my shepherd, I shall have need of nothing."

"Yes, that is a very good one as well. I believe that's from Correllian Scriptures."

"Yes, I think you're right about that" said Rey. "Hey, tomorrow we have the grandkids-Luke and Laura and Sarah and Corrsn's kids. They'll be here at 1500 Hours.

"I look forward to it," Ben said.

The next Day, as the whole family ate around the table, they paused to pray for the food, and thank the God of the Force for family.
Luke, Sarah, Corran, Laura, Lukie, Wormie, Camie, Biggs, Corran Jr. and Ben and Rey held hands, bowed and prayed.

After dinner, it was once more Ben's turn to open the Diaries. He read silently for about 10 minutes, then started with,

    "ENTRY 60"

I played a new account on Arcane Castle Legends, the videogame I enjoy so much, on my datapad. I chose Misty as my starting Hero.
I played this half the night, then slept fitfully, then got up and in the Daytime watched a long Adventure Movie on my datapad, and played more Arcane Castle, but on my primary game account, then turned my datapad off and went back to playing my new account on my home computer.

I watched some of a new Droids movie on tele-network.

I got a Droid Vacuum Cleaner from my friend Martus, and five new journals in the mail. Praise the God of the Force!

I'm bringing some of my Journals with me to the Church of the Force.

    0704 Hours
    Purchased two books:

Test the spirit world for Truth, by a Prophet of the Force.

    and

Ordinances and Sacraments of the Church of the Force by Yalo and Bokel.

I'm listening to a broadcast on Truth on the Holonet.

My Lothcat jumped up onto my home computer and disconnected the Holonet, so I had to find the broadcast and turn it back on.

There exists forbidden knowledge and false information in the Galaxy. It is a corruption of the Truth and pure Knowledge and Wisdom.

Someday the Great God will return, as the Prophets foretold. And we'll vanish without a trace. We'll be taken higher than the diamonds in the sky as the God lights the sky on fire.

I believe in myself and have confidence in my own abilities, but I also believe i can do nothing without God.

I trust Him with all my knowledge. I pray He tskes from me anything I don't need to know.

    "ENTRY 61

I feel terrible right now. I don't sleep much anymore.

I need to focus on one book at a time, stick with it and read it. Learners are change-agents.

I'm starting with 'The Ancient Martyrs of the Force'

The Second book I'm reading is a book written by the infamous pirate Hondo Ohnaka, that I picked up at a secondhand bookshop here on Coruscant, where he told some interesting stories about his past interactions with the late Han Solo-"

"Not a day goes by that I don't regret killing him" Ben interrupted himself, sobbing. Then Ben continued the entry.

"-and the Millennium Falcon. He entitled the Book 'A Great Ship and a Great Man.'

I'm only on the 16'th page.

So two books at a time.

I feel terrible. I don't sleep much anymore."

    Ben looked up
"Seems like he was having a rough time here. I remember when I used to feel like that. It was all that remorse and regret from all those wasted years of being immersed in the Dark Side."

"I'd like to read those four books he mentioned" Rey said.

    Ben checked the holonet.

"I found all four holobooks, here, free, digital copies I can download right from the holonet," he said. "We'll pause here and resume after we've read these four books. And I want to play my Arcane Castle Legends account again. Been a while."

    "I've never played it."

"Well, I'll show it to you."

    "I'd like that, dear."

Three weeks later, after one of their grandkids' Jedi Knighting Ceremony (Their oldest graduated, Luke had just become a Knight. He was 11 years old. He had been on many adventures, far and wide, and had passed the trials) Rey and Ben sat down on the grass on a field on Naboo, waterfalls roaring behind them. Rey opened the Diary and read,

    "ENTRY 70

When I am sleep-deprived I become irrational and susceptible to delusions, and the things I watch on the tele-network and holonet sometimes reinforce these relusions.

I like studying The Force and the History of the Galaxy. Such studies are good. God is also in many of the things I watch, so it helps me back into seeing reality.

The Force is not just Faith, but love, peace, joy, hope, etc, all the positive energies in the Universe, while the Dark Side is not only Doubt but pride, hate, fear, envy, lust, greed, etc, or all the negative energies that exist.

My Lothcat is curled up on the left cushion of my hovercouch, happy and content. I've never seen her so un-nervous before.

When I found her she was skittish.

    It is 1009 Hours.

I'm about to play Arcane Castle Legends again, then go to work today.

What you do betrays what you really believe.

After work, I slept 'til about 0250 Hours and then got up and ate meat sticks.

    "ENTRY 71

I couldn't sleep so I got up after 0130 Hours and continued an audiobook about diseases.

I watched The History of the Planet At-Attin and its Heroes Wim, Neel, K-B and Fern and absolutely loved it.

My Lothcat is curled up on my hovercouch, on the left cushion, as usual.

I ate vegetable soup, a meat and bread meal, and vegetable crisps for supper last night.

I read a book before turning on an Interview with the Chancellor of the New Republic on the Holonet and drank an Extra Large soft drink.

My Lothcat is here on my lap and I am petting her.

I remembered to pray to the Spirit of Love, Light and Life this morning.

    0351 Hours
The Chancellor came on for a replay and I read Correllian Scriptures out loud and played Arcane Castle Legends., and finished my soft drink, went shopping and ate greens for lunch.

I'm attempting to build a lightsaber.
I have obtained a Kybur Crystal. I was able to open a Holocron teaching me how to build it.

I read more Correllian Scriptures and a Travel story to an Exotic Land by Martus Twinsun, an old dusty book, pp. 1-3.

My friend Martus took me out shopping at a big superstore on Coruscant, then asked me if I was hungry, then when I said yes, took me to his parents' condo, where I ate good noodles and sauce, two good breadsticks and a good slice of pie with whipped cream, a glass of water and a piece of chocolate and nut candy."

Rey paused "He ate well that day," she said.

"His sanity seems to be doing better too," Ben said.

"He needs to work on getting more sleep it seems," Rey said.

"Well, we're on his next Diary," she continued

    "LOG 331

    ENTRY 001

"I brushed my teeth last night

I had noodles and cheese last night,-"

    "Sounds good," Ben said

    "-and meat roast stew-"

"Sounds even better," Ben said next.

    Rey continued.

"I couldn't really sleep last night. I watched the tele-network last night, and daydreamed a lot.

The last two nights, I got a lot of sleep."

    "That's good," Ben said
    Rey nodded, and continued,

"I watched two movies and the history special The Mysterious Case of Osha and Maye Aniseya recently.

"That is a strange case indeed," Ben commented. "We really don't know that much about them.

Rey said "You'll have to tell me what you know later." Then she continued,

"The Supreme Chancellor's not backing down and the dissenting party in the Senate is big mad according to one political commentator. I stand with the Chancellor. She's absolutely on point in what she stands for and has achieved for this Galaxy so far.

Some scientists hypothesize that there exist primordial black holes that are possible relics from before the Formation of this Galaxy.

I've been reading sleeping and listening to music and checking email and mail all day. I got soft drinks delivered to my Condo.

01007 Hours I watched about half of the history presentation The End of the Clone Wars and Order 66 and now I'll read a self-help book.

    "ENTRY 002

I went to a diner with Roop from about 0900 Hours-1100 Hours last night after I rewatched The History of At-Attin and its Heroes.

I had buttered toast, grilled cheese, scrambled eggs and hashed spuds.

I had some comm problems today.

I did not brush my teeth or pray much last night because I was tired. I went straight to bed after the Restaurant with all my electronics shut off.

I'm watching the History of the First Year of the Clone Wars at the same time I'm playing Arcane Castle Legends. I made some in-game purchases, which I believe were worth it.

Today I updated my home computer.

At the Church of the Force the Minister gave a good Sermon about the God of the Force's burden being light.
It was a good round table discussion.
Dodi and I testified of God's goodness from the time I got there to the beginning of the roundtable discussion after the opening prayer.

Then Cindal gave me a Life Day card and I got a ride home in a speeder. Now I will feed my Lothcat.
Martus was home sick from Church today.

    My lightsaber is assembled.

    Goodnight.

    Bye.

    LOG 332

    ENTRY 001-"

That was a short Log before Log 332." Ben said.

Rey smiled and nodded. "Yes it was," she said, and she continued

    "-0352 Hours

I watched a part of the History of the First Galactic Civil War in a foreign language, then History of the Mandalorian Din D'Jarin and the beginning of the Story of the Foundling Din Grogu and the History of Boba Fett's gotra on the tele-network. Meanspace, news commentary on the topics of the day plays in Basic on my home computer.
They are talking about all the obscure people that seem to come to the forefront of current events.

'The average person doesn't know the history of the Clone Wars, so they wouldn't know these people' - a quote.

I'm continuing part of the History of the First Galactic Civil War while listening to Scriptures from Coruscant.
I won and lost a game against my friend Cindal.

    "ENTRY 002-"

"Let this be our final entry for today," Ben said. "I want to spend time with you out here in silence, listening to the birds singing, fall in love with you all over again."

"What a beautiful day this is," Rey said. Ok, one last entry."

"-This Diarist listened to Music and watched religious programming on the tele-network, after getting home from a meat aqnd bread restaurant, and shopping, and cleaning my Lothcat's litterbox.

I listened to a broadcast on political News and the history of the Galaxy, which came on next.

Right now this Diarist is watching more religious programming on the tele-network.

God, protect our Supreme Chancellor, whom You have chosen. Amen.

    "ENTRY 003

    0847 Hours

The Spirit of Life, Light and Love was very strong at the Church of the Force Midweek Service this evening, and there i sand with tears of joy a Beloved Hymn, and testified.

Now Roop, Cindal and this Diarist are at a restaurant. I'm having a soft drink.
This Diarist is also watching a man broadcasting himself playing a videogame on his datapad which has 52 thousand views and a thousand people upvoted it.

    My soft drink is delicious!"

"Well, that was two more, but you have to admit that last entry was so worth reading!"

"Yes, dear, Wel, lets spend some quality time together out here. Feel young again."
They gazed lovingly into each others' eyes. Then they kissed.

Many times over the years, they would go over the book over and over again, and obtain more volumes over the holonet, treasuring them.

And ol' Hondo Ohnaka, well he gave them a volume of Coryik's later Journals.
    A tale for another time.
