Are Kleya and Luthan married or dating do you or anyone knows?

I loved this episode the most because of the Bix scene in the end she got her revenge hopefully she can live the rest of her life in peace! Although it is telling she isn't in Rogue One I supose she does? But that last scene made it all worth it I cheered out loud! I did enjoy all the 3 episodes this week more then last week but last week the third episode was the best too! Does anyone know if every week we will get 3 episodes or is it just for Arcs I wasn't expecting two weeks of 3 episodes a piece 6 all together in 2 weeks.

I think they're just professionals with a friendship. They work together and they get along well. Nothing romantic about it.

 

Yea I always assumed it was a friendship of they both hated the empire and nothing more

 

Based on his speech last season and overall characterization, I doubt Luthen would willingly enter a relationship until the war in over, and that's assuming he survives it.

 

I could see both being the case she is from Mon Morha"s planet they all seem to be in arranged open marriages.

I had no problem with the recasting of Jimmy Smitts to be honest I thought it was a de aged Jimmy Smitts.

 

Like the fifth person I've seen saying that, to me they look completely different, different face, different voice, they're both just middle aged and brown Latinos.

 

Hmm? I assume this was a one and done thing and they just couldn’t get Jimmy Smitts

 

Well he's going to show up later in the season with his appearance this episode being a warm up so people aren't distracted when he's actually important. I'm not sure if Bail is even going to appear in live action after this, but Smits is probably still their first choice if he does. I just don't think they look anything alike besides being brown latinos in their 60s.

 

Oh well I am fine with it. If a story really calls for a character and the actor can’t do it then recast it’s fine. It’s not like this is the only thing Smitts makes money off of. Like if he was being replaced by a better known actor for the fact they were a better known actor I would care

The actor replacing Smitts definitely looks nothing like him and was a bit jarring for me, but can't be helped.

 

Not crazy about the Bail recast as well.

 

Either this or married or dating or open relationship i mean they both live together in the antique shop!

 

Out of petty spite for all shippers out there, I hope both are revealed to be gay by the end of the season.

 

What's wild to me is that we're now halfway through the season and a lot of people still need to die.

 

Other than the constant sex not shown on screen it’s nothing romantic. Also their shared love of historical artifacts. But besides the sex and passion for antiquities and their smoldering hate of the empire it is nothing romantic. Except for the kids they have together also not depicted on screen.

 

In terms of main characters who actually do dangerous work, it's really just Cassian, Bix, Brasso, Wilmon, Luthen, Kleya, Vel, Cinta.

Luthen and Kleya aren't getting shot unless they go out on the field or get caught. Cassian has plot armor. They'd probably save Bix's death for the endgame. Brasso and Cinta did die.

Syril and Dedra aren't doing especially dangerous work right now, but they are also our main imperial viewpoints so even when things do get crazier I think at least one of them are staying alive by the penultimate episode.

With the type of work the characters are doing, I think it would come off as contrived if half of them just dropped like flies by now. They aren't doing open open warfare yet.

Oh I understand, I wasn't being critical of what we've got so far, more that it's going to have a wild end. We still have K2-SO to come too, so there's a lot coming in the final two arcs. I almost wonder if we're going to get a 3-ep arc and then a 2-ep arc + finale with the finale set somewhat distinct from the rest almost as an epilogue. Doing so would make watching it straight into R1 a bit easier.

 

This may have been the weakest arc of the entire series so far, but perhaps it will work better in context of the larger season. Even so, a weaker Andor arc still has plenty to dissect and consider.

One trend I certainly didn't anticipate was yet another key episode in which the series' title character is largely absent. Granted, Cassian's conversations with Luthen were very good, particularly the argument at the gallery. But to then have most of Cassian and Bix's mission to kill Dr. Gorst largely happen offscreen felt strange. Sure, it makes for a satisfying reveal at the end, but I also wonder whether there will be any consequences from that? Embarking on such a task on Coruscant of all places is beyond risky. Speaking of off the grid, the fact that we didn't see anything further from Saw Gerrera, Willmon and the rest of that crew in this episode was pretty disappointing.

The whole Sculdun gallery sequence mostly worked for me, but it is a little repetitive to have two consecutive story arcs conclude with large opulent public events. Seeing Mon Mothma go verbally toe to toe with Krennic was thrilling, but I really wish we got to see the whole conversation without the need to cut back and forth to Kleya and Lonni's antics. And that's not a knock on the latter two characters, both of whom I think are among the most compelling rebel characters in this series. And... I'm sure Benjamin Bratt will be fine, but I was really looking forward to seeing Jimmy Smits in this series.

Finally, I was so happy to see Vel and Cinta get a lot of focus and closure in this episode, although I think more of that could have been set up earlier in this arc. Once they took over the Gorman operation, I had a feeling one or both wouldn't make it out alive, and the fact that Cinta's death came at the hands of accidental friendly fire was quite surprising. Aside from maybe Kleya, Cinta has been the most devoted to this cause, so to go out like that was tough (although I also thought the execution wasn't particularly strong). Vel has obviously been afforded more development to this point, so while Cinta's loss wasn't particularly saddening, seeing how it affected Vel was genuinely moving. The way she verbally berated the man who accidentally shot her has to be one of the most brutal scenes in any Star War.

Ultimately, this whole three episode arc is designed as the buildup to the eventual massacre we know is coming, but in some ways, it can't help but feel like an incomplete middle.

I'm not a Shipper I'm just curious about there situation I like the actress that plays her!

I mean it's a dark PG-13 Show there obviously not gonna show that plus it doesn't further the story to show a scene of them in bed together like they show Cassian and Bix! I mean I could be wrong and what does it really matter but they both live together in the Antique Shop usually Partners live together! I was just wondering...

 

Death or illness or arrest/legal troubles of an actor/actress?

 

I honestly thought it was a deaged Jimmy Smits so I thought it was a good recasting Smits is probably older then my parents my parents are in there early 70s getting a little to old to play the part.
