Welcome to the forums! If you have somewhat recently started investing in Legends novels, you're in for a treat. I was always personally more fascinated by what happens after Return Of The Jedi, so I have been reading on and off novels from that era for the past 15 years. There are many gems there. I travelled to Australia for the first time ever back in July, and I fell in love with the country (and New Zealand). Sydney was my favorite but Melbourne was amazing too. And I got to see the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns, which was phenomenal. If I didn't have a wife and a newborn baby in NYC and lots of family in Europe, I think I would move permanently to Australia. The quality of life there is so much better than any place I've lived in (or visited).
Thank you for your welcome @Master Jedi Fixxxer Thanks for the recommendations Australia's nature is lovely, I live in the country/bush. I like Melbourne too. But things aren't great politically, we're just about to have a federal election. And the cost of living is ridiculously high.
The truth is that everything was much cheaper in NZ. But I live in NYC, so everything is cheaper everywhere for me
Kinda world wide mate. My daughter and her fiancé live with us, no rentals out there Her fiancé is a Kiwi and they lived over there for 6 months but discovered is was actually cheaper here. They were in a 4 bedroom share house that five people were renting, the lounge was the fifth renter But from I understand, we're not the only country in this particular boat. As for the election, the damn texts I never asked to get from various parties really grind my gears......invasion of privacy I say!
