Still waiting on that announcement for a physical blu-ray release.

I enjoyed spending November till now having time off work and rewatching season 1 (including the Gallery). Such a fun ride even with all the pitfalls the show clearly had. It seems they really rushed the story and getting the plot together but the effects and concepts were terrific.
Not sure we will get a blu ray release, but we did get some action figures this past year which were fantastic. To top it off, like a few others, the show reminds me of fighting through a tough time (battled what I think was covid which I couldn't sleep or move for weeks) and the music of the show helped me fight through it.

It would be great for a season 2 but I would be happy to see Boba and friends (not the Vespa teens) show up in the Mandalorian +Grogu movie.

I recently watched the entirety of TBOBF and loved it again, like the first time.

I would say that I am genuinely surprised at the backlash and the ridicule it received from a certain portion of the fanbase, but then I remember what happened with the prequels and I am not surprised at all. Somehow the overall cohesive story, the amazing visuals, the interesting characters, the very good action scenes and the worldbuilding were overshadowed by a couple of inconsequential and secondary elements, like the Vespa kids and... not much else really. Just like ignoring the brilliance of the prequels because Jar Jar Binks was annoying.

Oh well, to me Chapters 5 and 6 are as good as the best episodes of The Mandalorian, and Chapters 1-2 and 7 are also very entertaining and pure Star Wars the way that I have enjoyed it for more than 30 years now. I will be re-watching this show every Christmas season from now on, it somehow feels like a Life Day show to me :)

PS. The Vespa kids were awesome, I would totally watch a spin off with them.

Please know that you're not alone in thinking that, no matter how many aggressive voices shouting opinion as fact might try and convince you otherwise. :)

Even if I was the only person on this planet having that opinion, I still wouldn't change my mind :)
Art = 100% subjective, so I wouldn't be wrong about it either. But it surely feels nice to have people vocally agree. Ultimately, in a galaxy where you have billions of different species and weird sceneries, aliens, vehicles, plants and animals, a few kids with shiny bikes wanting to be rebels on Tattooine is hardly weird at all.

    Is this a reliable source?

I'm watching Ahsoka on blu-ray as I type this; I'm definitely a fan of physical releases - I just don’t want to get my hopes up based on some random tweet.

This show was very disappointing as a Boba Fett fan there was no Dengar or Bossk appearance i feel like the character of Boba Fett has been overshadowed by Din Djarin i think Boba Fett should have been a villain in the Mandoverse read any EU Boba Fett comic this is how Boba Fett should have been in this show the only thing i liked about this show was seeing the Tusken culture and seeing how Boba Fett survived the Sarlacc

I've seen this show again and i think i got carried away by the anger i felt at the time i think this show is better than Kenobi a good characterization of Boba Fett yes the 2 chapters dedicated to Din are annoying but they didn't seem as long to me as the last time i saw the show Boba Fett in the EU was much more rude he became an anti hero until NJO and LOTF in the New Canon it seems that Boba Fett is redeemed very soon after escaping the sarlacc i also liked this new approach to Boba Fett in the New Canon i hope to see more appearances of Boba soon

Definitely not a perfect show but lots of good elements. I think it started out strong but didn’t stick the landing and should have had a darker tone. And at least it didn’t completely disrespect the canon like Kenobi, though they both have the issue of poor use of flashbacks that could have been great.

I would have liked the Boba Fett show to have a similar tone to Andor

Having Obi-Wan and Anakin rematch changes everything we’ve known since George described their last encounter in 1977 for no reason

For the story of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series or for the films? What I object to is that it invalidates the intention of watching the six films in order.

I can see that and originally Kenobi would be movie and possible trilogy. So it was meant to be 3'5 of the saga

Then you're watching them in the wrong order.

Hah maybe. But with just the original trilogy, when Vader said “A presence I’ve not felt since…” what did you imagine he was referring to?

Just because you presume "We meet again, at last, the circle is now complete" as referring to their dual on Mustafar, doesn't mean it does. Similar with "when I left you I was but the learner" could also mean the moment when Anakin left the Jedi Order sometime between disobeying Mace by going to Palps office and cutting Mace's hand off..

but my “presumption” was absolutely no questions asked right until Obi-Wan Kenobi came out. It was the original intention of the artist and I see no benefits to changing it only confusion for future generations watching the films

George Lucas has a habit of changing his mind and also the version of events leading up to the change. Just look at the description in the Return of the Jedi novel, Vader falls into a molten pit and was burnt.

George Lucas changing certain details of his own story is completely irrelevant. As you’ve just demonstrated, the core outline of the story was the same since he wrote the original trilogy. And with the prequels he finalized and realized that story on screen, so who are the writers of Obi-Wan Kenobi to say no actually this tv spin off invalidates the series of events from the greatest saga of all time. And all for an ugly lame fight that ruins Obi-Wan’s character
