Glad to finally have some time for the Jedi again, old friend.

So here is another challenge for anyone wanting to earn points in the Guardians of the Light, or just wants to philosophize with me about this:

    Jedi collaborating with Criminals

Of course there a numerous examples for this. From of course Luke working with Han and later Talon Karrde, to Anakin and Obi Wan working with Hondo, or even the Jedi Order itself agreeing to some kind of 'alliance', or at least his support to the war effort, with Jabba the Hutt during the Clone Wars as seen in the Clone Wars movie. And of course while some of these alliances were purely out of conveniance or necessesity, in some chases even friendships developed between the Jedi and the Criminals.

Now some might argue that this is just part of the necessity of being Jedi, that in a Galaxy this big we sometimes have to ally with a 'lesser evil' against a greater evil. Or even that keeping close ties with certain criminals might help turn them into better people, to even give up crime alltogether or at least moderate their methods, and thus has a alltogether benefictial impact on the Galaxy.

But of course there is also the other side of the argument, that by working with criminals the Jedi are enabling crime and injustice, if not even somewhat endorsing it, even if indirectly. Especially when some of these criminals are involved in quite violent crimes, such as Jabba who is a murderous gangster boss who openly engages in slavery. And with even the likes of Han Solo being at times quite violent (he shoots first after all). Does the end truly justify the means at all times?

I want know what your takes on this are, what do you think is acceptable and what crosses a dangerous line that shouldn't be crossed. With what kinds of criminals maybe collaborating is okay, and with which it goes too far. Or do you maybe think Jedi shouldn't work with criminals at all? Let me hear you thoughts and I might share some of mine as well down the line...

Ok, I feel a Jedi has the capacity to 'feel' if someone is truly evil, I mean the average 'joe' not a Sith Lord. They work with criminals often but they are also often petty criminals and not the kind who destroy worlds or murder for kicks. The Police often do the same thing with informants here on earth, they have a network of people they 'lean on' for information and I think the Jedi are the same. They know who they are dealing with and so long a no one gets hurt and the job gets done, its ok. Fact is its been going on for generations on this planet.

Oh and on a side note...

No noise. Couldn't find a good meme/gif to represent what I was thinking (Especially since Daffy is always so crabby).
Just hoped people would recognize the character and connect it to the lisp. :p

    But here's my favorite.
