It's actually okay if you don't understand why it's popular, the point is that many people like it.
By the way, many people asked the question during PT's time, who likes this? Poor acting, ridiculous dialogues, too much CGI... Despite all the criticism, it found its audience, and the sequels will be the same.

 

Rumor is that the Nightsenators give her a choice of death or life, but the price of life is that she can never see Perrin again, and she immediately chooses life.

 

It was certainly in character though to make it look like she thought about it though even the decision was made within a second of the request being made.

 

Yeah if there is somethng that is NOT missing from Andor is character developement...I mean the whole series narrates the developement of Cassian's character oh my....

 

Let's just hope their deaths are not so lame as Cinta's was.

 

They must have been trolling. It's hard to imagine anyone writing such nonsense.

at least her alter ego is alive and well in doctor who (,sorry couldn't resist)

 

Cinta died by an accident, and another character had a similar fate in season 1.

There is famous brief Italian poetry that goes roughly like this:

The life of a soldier is as ephemeral and unpredictable as the leaves in autumn, that might fall at any moment.

I believe that Andor's writers captured this idea very effectively.

Do you think we might get books or something filling in the missing time between arcs? Id love to see the mission where Andor shoots the imperial who saw Bix's face. How they got to mina Rau etc..i don't read much star wars but I'd read about these characters

 

Do we think we see the Death Star this arc or the last one

 

Not sure im.hoping we see it at the end tonight...if not it might be the opening episode next week

 

Im thinking they save that for the last arc, personally. Im probably wrong, though.

 

As I can assume most everyone Andor cares about dies for him to become RO Andor, I'm going to hold out for K2SOs return. I need me some Alan Tyduk.

 

The only guy that makes me wonder how on earth he managed to stay alive so long is Lonni. He's the most exposed of them all.

 

His elevator scenes with Luthen are amazing

 

The Emmys need to create a new award category, “Best Elevator Scene,” just to accommodate the greatness of Andor’s elevator scenes.

 

One thing I think Andor demonstrates so well is that mature, thoughtful and hard hitting storytelling is entirely possible without needing to lean on all the stereotypical R-rated calling cards like graphic violence, nudity and profanity.

And that's not just an example for Star Wars, but for all modern storytelling in general, both theatrical and streaming.

 

I agree on those you picked for certain death. (Who's Lagret?). Except Wilmon I think lives.
I would add Dedra and Syril.
As for surviving: Mon Mothmas family , Partagaz, Syrils mom (may disappoint some).
