No:confused: . Daniel Logan reprise his role from episode II
Ezra is a victim of the writers. While everyone expect him to grow up and develop into interesting character. He remain the same old Ezra with usual kid attitude.

True, but we've seen this before. Anakin's first starfighter experience, Luke's first X-wing run, Rey's first Falcon flight.

I think he's good at delivering hammy to really bad dialogue, so it must be the writing, lol. Maybe Filoni is dragging us through another Ahsoka-like development process where it may take half a decade or more for people to take to or like the character with Ezra.* I don't think Ezra is that good of a written or developed character though, anytime he shows promise they regress him again. But the show is still stuck too much in juvenile and has not grown much - only so far as individual episodes.

I kinda liked this episode, but the Rebel fleet poping up within 5 seconds even if some seconds ago they were all listening to Mon mothma's message on their respective worlds...

And they say that Scariff is the first Big win for the Rebels ? But we see the Ghost crew destroy almost one Stardestroyer per episode. This time, two. Or I hope they are just damaged, but still. They don't seem dangerous at all, one or two Rebel ships seem to be enough to paralyze them and heavily damage them.

At least Ahsoka was competent. She was taking down Magnaguards in her appearance. Ezra couldn't even handle an Inquisitor. Or five Mandalorians. Or just Thrawn. The list goes on and on. I grow weary of his continuous ineptitude.

Ashoka was trained since birth. And trained by Anakin.
Ezra has what? 2-3 years if that, depending on the opponent?
Compared to their years of experience?

Well to be balanced out, they made Rey do better with less than Ezra and Luke.

There is a big inconsistency about Ezra, be it about his skill and connection with the Force, be it about his supposed relationship with the dark side, be it about his maturity.

It is a bit baffling, because Ezra must leave the galaxy very soon and his own personal story arc is still all over the place. In fact, he is the one that got less of a coherent "arc" during these 3 seasons. Hera, Zeb, Chopper, AP-5, they can easily melt into the Rebellion and pose no problem with Rogue One and ANH. They grew with the experience of being part of Phoenix Squadron, they can continue their journey within the Rebellion and it isn't odd that Luke, Leia, Han's adventures never made them cross paths.

Kanan's story is also coherent, he did his job as the "Last Padawan" from the defunct Republic's Jedi Order, helped a very important cell, achieved outstanding results that will echo in the annals of the Rebellion forever (Grand Inquisitor, Tarkin's ship, a few more significant setbacks for the Empire). He can face Vader and die, he can face Thrawn and die, he can go to Alderaan to rescue Bail Organa and never get out (too little too late). I really can't see a better end for Kanan, I think he has to die or at least dissapear into the void or another galaxy, in a convincing way. He can't be a Jedi Knight and be around when we reach the ANH timeline.

Sabine can believably be fighting her own fight in Mandalore and in the planets or systems that Mandalore influences, so she doesn't pose a problem for not being mentioned in ANH (I don't think Mandalore is even mentioned in that Picture).

That leaves us Ezra. Main character of SWR but an impossible one to be with the Rebellion, and the Ghost crew, when we reach Rogue One and especially ANH timeline. And he can't be killed too, both because that wouldn't be nice to Disney viewers and also because that kid's story has stalled and we don't even know exactly what to think of his journey, apparently all over the place storywise.

The rebels using the nebula to destroy the Imperial ships was rubbish. If it destroyed the Imperial destroyers, it should have fried the Rebellion’s ships too.

Hera kind of seemed like she was trying too hard to gain Mon Mothma’s respect (Did anyone notice that she introduced her crew to Mothma’s crew, it was just “Ezra” and “Zeb”, but when she introduced them to Mon Mothma, she gave full names?). I think it’s okay if they want to portray two women who, though they have different jobs, respect each other and their skill at what they do, but it kind of just felt like Hera was trying so hard to impress Mon Mothma it felt like it diminished her character. Also, Mon Mothma seemed dumb when she commented that it must be nice being a pilot because you could run away from your problems. Just because you can fly a vehicle doesn’t mean that you can outrun your problems.

Mon Mothma is the overall leader of the Rebel Alliance and its principal founder, so I think Hera trying to impress her is only natural. When you're in presence of someone you respect greatly, its normal to want to leave the best impression.

And in the GFFA having a ship kinda does allow you to run away from your problems. You have the entire galaxy to hide in ;)

Well this episode just became very relevant again after Andor s2e9 is basically a set up prequel. Mon's holonet speech from the Imperial Senate in this episode is slightly different but let's just say that she said those bits when cutting away (also odd it would be rebroadcast on the Holonet as well but probably more manipulation and it was already out there anyway)

It’s a difference speech because she gave more than one.
