SWRPF Archive 128 ABY - The Sith-Imperial War - Turning Point

Sounds great, but I have two questions:

1) Is this AU? It's fine if it is, but Fel kept the IKs out of the war for the length of it. There's also nothing to suggest such a weakness in the IKs, nor such a neutral allignment. Issue #0 and the comic itself are clear: IKs, while differing on some principles, are fully trained Jedi. This implies that, not only are they fully capable of everything a Jedi is - though there may be less emphasis on healing...meh... - but also that they're not users of the dark side.

In fact, chances are, what with the effort to not be like Palpatine, they have a special reason to hate the dark side.
2) Why not set this in year three of the war, perhaps right before the Sith reveal themselves, in order to allow characters who may choose to play Sith interact with the main storyline?

 

And what is your stance on Force sensitives. People who get intuitions and are lucky because the have the force but arent trained.

 

I'm not Sinre, but I think I can sort of answer these questions. He'll undoubtedly chime in if I get something wrong.

1. Yes, this is AU. There wouldn't be much point in replaying a story that has already been told...

2. Because this is AU, it would be fitting to start the factions out at a point where they can decide what they want to happen. The person playing Emperor Fel my not want to keep the IK's out of the war for this story, so it would be fitting to start the game at a point where these type of important decisions can be made by the players.

 

Ah so this is the new RP Well, just saying that I'm in but I think I'm going to wait a bit before sending in any profile; going to see who joins what and what needs people and then join that. Maybe this time I'll actually have to have a Sith character <.< Maybe I'll make it so that there's actually a stormtrooper in the RP >.>

 

Well, the story of the Sith-Imperial War hasn't really been told, just sort of described in generalities. We know how it ends, in detail, and we know the basic circumstances of its beginning, but we know nothing else.

Bio: Plo was originally born on Hoth, where his parents had used as a hideaway, oftentimes following botched smuggling attempts. Due to his parents' life of crime, Plo was born into a difficult situation. In his infant years, his parents were captured by the Republic and were put on trial for their crimes. Meanwhile, an unnamed Jedi Master assigned as an arbitor on the case had taken note of Plo's affinity to the force. Long story short, Plo's parents were locked up for life, and he was sent off to the Jedi Temple for further evaluation and possible training. He was deemed fit, and began his training. He excelled early on, advancing faster than what was normal. The downside was his emotional baggage. Having been born into the kind of situation he was had made him a troubled youth. Still, his training progressed nicely, and he was known as one of the more powerful padawans of the order. Unfortunately, his passion was his downfall. He began to grow frustrated with the Council's unwillingness to grant him knighthood, and following a heated argument with his master, he departed from the Jedi, from there on out using his abilities as he saw fit. Soon after, he was approached by the Sith.

Gender: Male
Appearance: Average height, dark skinned man with hazel eyes. Muscular, from his training. Lean but not lanky, his hair is worn short. He is handsome, and has an almost permanent smirk on his face. He has a thin mustache and a patch of facial hair beneath his full, lower lip.

Allegiance: Imperial Knights

Weapons: Standard IK silver bladed lightsaber.

Bio: Other Korun children dreamed of becoming Jedi, like Mace of ghosh Windu. Iric of ghosh Katuruan, however, dreamed of becoming a stormtrooper. The Jedi seemed boring and creepy. Quite frankly, ever since his family left Haruun Kal the minute they could scrape some credits together to leave, Iric had wished he was like other kids, like other people. He had assumed pelekotan would stop talking to him when they left the planet, left the jungle, but it never stopped. He was just a child, then, almost an adolescent, and less than a century before his birth the Yuuzhan Vong had come and made the whole galaxy a jungle.

It wasn't long before the Katuruans ended up down on their luck again and, without the support of their ghosh, they ended up in the care of the Imperial Mission. Within two years Iric was on Yinchorr training to be a stormtrooper, fighting hard beside his comrades. One fateful day, however, he was plucked from his squad by an Imperial Knight. The Knight said he sensed the Force was strong in Iric; the Force, Iric had gathered, was what all non-Korunnai called pelekotan. The Knight told Iric he'd be bettter off training to be a Jedi, an Imperial Knight, to use his talents with the Force to defend the Emperor.

He thought about it for three days.

On the fourth day, he decided that the Imperial Knight's red armor was more wizard than Mace Windu's boring brown robes were in the history vids, and he'd seen the way the female cadets looked at them and giggled. Add to that his memories of the amazing things he'd seen the lor pelek do back on Haruun Kal, and the things he'd heard the Jedi could do, and to his adolescent mind, it all seemed pretty lubed. He filled out the proper forms, and within a week he was shipped off to another training facility. Another jungle: this time Nirauan, the Imperial Knight Academy.

Now he is a fully fledged Imperial Knight, having travelled all across the galaxy. If there's anything he misses most about the galaxy pre-war was that most of his travel was now confined to Imperial territories, as so much beauty could be found within the GA, the Unknown Regions, Hapes...and yet if there's one sight he wishes he could see again, even after all his travels, all his experience, all his trained, even after leaving Haruun Kal all those years ago, it is the statue built in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in commemoration of good old Mace of ghosh Windu. He wishes to stand before it, kneel, kiss it's sculpted hand and say, "I get it now, compatriot. I didn't before, but now I do."

Bio: In 137 ABY, Master Draco accompanied Emperor Fel in his move to reclaim Bastion, which had served as the capital of the Empire before it was transferred to Coruscant seven years earlier.

Roan Fel, Draco, and two other Imperial Knights arrive on Bastion.While there, he received word that the Imperial Mission on Socorro had been attacked, endangering Fel's daughter, Princess Marasiah Fel. Draco proposed a rescue mission in order to save her, but the Emperor declined the suggestion on the basis that it was a trap for himself, and that responding would only reveal to Darth Krayt that they had seized Bastion.

Although loyal to his Master and monarch, Draco showed increasing unease with the situation. He defied Fel's orders and attempted to rescue the Princess with several other Knights following him. His logic behind his decision was "Is loyalty always the same as obedience?"

Bio:
Sou Jin, was born to a life of begging and stealing. As time went on, he found out that he had some force abilities, and used what he could, as much as possible. His life changed when he was 10 years old, when the aliens attacked and he was stranded on a planet alone and hungry. By the age of 15, he joined the Human Brigade, to help in catching jedi.

When he turned 16 years of age, an unknown figure meet him at a resting point, and promised him more power than he could ever dream of, so he went.

Now at the age of 24, he is ready for his first true test of his abilities and cunning.

Appearance: Black hair and blue eyes, a stiff posture through centuries of thorough breeding in her family and years of training with the creme de la creme of society.

Weaknesses and Strengths: Austere staring can be a slight hindrance, but also a blessing on odd occasions. Generally people think ill of her, but is she likely to care? No.
Manipulative and conniving, those who underestimate her are likely to have made a very bad decision.
Allegiance: To the Emperor, occasionally. More likely to stab those who stand in the way of her succesions.
Weapons: Why, the underlings beneath her of course. And a charming pistola given to her by Morlish.
Bio: As the lover of Grand Moff Veed, many have underestimated Calixte's intelligence and skill. She resents this thoroughly and has resorted to "other methods" to ensure she sustains her position.
She's a shady character, with not much known about her. It is assumed that only she and Veed know the real story behind her and her motives...

Appearance: Sira is a darkhaired, blue eyed woman with a face that seems to youthful for her age. Her hair short an a little wild she was an almost fragile woman, but years of training and a couple of dangerous situations have shaped her body to be athletic and tough

Bio: Sira was quite old when she became aware of the field sourrounding her and all other lifng things. Coming from a poor family of corellian workers from Sulon she was found by accident (as she believed then, not knowing the will of the force) by an Jedi Master investigating aggressive Yuzzhan Vong hardliners.
He took her to Ossus and brought her to the council, that stood divided on the question if she would make a proper apprentice. They sensed the urge to help people and the great compassion for those around her in this girl, but the force seemed to be not very strong in her and her mind was easily distracted. The Grandmaster himself finally ordered her to be trained, for reasons not questioned. But Sira never forgot Master Skywalkers look before he smiled at her, calling her an apprentice. It was like if he had seen something there . . . something he never revealed to her.
So her training began. Sira had great interests in all Jedi arts. The perception in the force, the sight throught the force, healing, mind affection and telepathy . . . but the one field of Jedi Arts she was not interested at all, was the one she showed, by natural talent, the greatest promise. The art of fighting. From the first time she took a lightsaber she seemed to become one with it, defeating all other students easily. Students who surpassed her in all other fields. Soon she began to let out her anger and jealousy about them having such strength in the force, that was denied to her, show in her trainings. And especially in the lightsaber lessons the anger of her relative weaknees in the force made her stronger. The masters reacted and she was singled out and explained in depth that she was on the way to the dark side. That if she would give in to this anger she would eventually become a more powerfull+ force user as she wishe,d, but she would be it´s slave, never the guardian of peace and the people she wanted to be . . .
She was also explained, that this talent of hers, the talent of being a warrior, was something to be used wisely. For in such a talent the will of the force was obvious.
Sira agreed. And her training continued. When she completed training she was the best lightsaber duelist of her class, even training other students and she was chosen by a Master for her dedication and calmness even in battle. The missions that followed as a padawan were those as a protector or guardian. Often it involved combat. The superior skill of Sira made it rarely necessary to kill, but on a few occasions it was inevitable. And so she destroyed what she had come to protect in the first place. Life. She became unconfortable with her ways, questioning the wisdom of her masters to make her an warrior. But nevertheless her skill as such a warrior grew rapidly. She was given the title of a Jedi Knight, despite the fact that her mastery of the force was lower than that of some padawans. And she had trained hard to archive even so much. But her achivments in various campaings against the organized crime and rogue warlords seemed to justify the ascneding to a full fledged knight. Her dedication and faith in the Jedi Code seemed absolute, at least on the outside. She took the duty of being a Jedi very serious, gaining some stability of it and even enhancing her lightsaber-training volunteeringly. Hoping, that it was the will of the force for her to fight evil, even if she wished for a destiny without violence.
But the outbreak of the war was the rebirth of her nightmares. A War! Killing would be necessary and the Jedi would throw their strongest fighters in to aid the GA to victory. The strongest fighters, like her . . .

Bio: Originally a member of the Jedi Order, Janus Karn was a promising student. But that all changed when his brother, a soldier for the Naboo army was killed by the order of the High Council during a planetary conflict. Driving him insane at being betrayed by the Jedi, he swore to kill the Masters who authorized it. He secretly left the order, making everyone there think he was murdered. But first, he sought out the remnants of the Sith on the Planet Ziost.

Meeting a dark jedi there, Janus killed him and took the holocron that the dark jedi was guarding. It contained extensive teachings on how to channel the dark side. Learning by himself, he studied for nearly a year, going without food or water the whole time, but instead, fed himself using the force. No longer was he bound by food or water. Leaving there, he hid the holocron in a room indestructable by even thorium charges. He then took up the name Darth Verrick.

Going back to Coruscant, he started to fulfill his vow. The murder of the Jedi master Mantis was extremely heinous. Different body parts of Mantis were found in different rooms of the Jedi Temple. Jedi Master Krons killed by having pillar fall on him, but it fell at such a place that as long as the pillar was on that place, it was keeping his body together and him in pain. But if removed, he would die. The pain was so much that not even the force could supress it. Krons had the other jedi masters remove the pillar so that he could finally die. The Jedi couldn?t figure out who was doing this? Some crazed murderer, one master thought. But how could an ordinary person kill two masters. Soon after, as no more murders took place, the jedi once again fell in their self-destructive state of complacency.

Verrick laughted at the pain of the two masters who had his brothers killed. It brought him a most unusual feeling: joy. He liked this joy. It felt good next to his hate. He felt like a maverick.

He then left to join the sith order. He awaits the day that the Sith and the Imperials will finally join together to destroy the Jedi.

Outcast from the Jedi Academy for his often odd views on situations. He often times was called infront of the council and was reported to have even challenged them on their very views as Jedi and Sith. He left the order than to continue his ways and support something that he didn't feel was for him.

He eventually found his way to the Imperial knights, most say that it was his own decision but there was a rumor floating around that he was recruited by the Emperor himself..once again only a rumor. He is said to be Very strong in lightsaber combat, but what he lacks is the affinity for the force, he often times is a superior duelest and person of sound mind, but the force is something that he lacked due to leaving prematurely from the Jedi Order.

He has been sent on numerous missions and fighting only for his honor. Many have decided to brand him as a renegade even in the Imperial Knights. There is one thing that will never be questioned, his loyality to Emperor. Having served him for the past four years, decorated numerous times.

As a Shadow Child, she technicly doesn't exist, which has allowed her to live a life free from formality. Bio: The only daughter of Imperial Emperor Roan Fel, Sia is destined to inherit the throne, becoming the first Empress of the Fel Dynasty. She has received the extensive education appropriate for a Princess, as well as being trained as an Imperial Knight.

Sia is a headstrong young woman, placing the Empire ahead of her own life. She truly cares about her future subjects, though she is perhaps a bit haughty about her power at times. A very loyal person, Sia struggles with letting her personal feelings for those closest to her interfere with her duty.

She worries about the political situation, uneasy about what sort of galaxy?and Empire?she will inherit. She would never question her father?s decisions, but instead wonders what she would do in his place, and if she could ever really take the throne from him.
