It's not the size, it's how you use it!

Neither. Both are too thick. I prefer a .005 ZIG millenium "memory system."

.5 mm diameter leads in a Pentel© Sharplet can do wonders :-B

Seven. Why? Five phears seven, because seven ate nine ;)

Where's innuendo when we need him? :)

I usually use .7 when sketching, .5 when drawing for effect, and 1.1 when doing some real interesting things.

I go with .5 for my basic sketch and .7 to go over it and then ultra fine tip so I say, get both.

oh! so this girl was hanging out with me and... well things started to go well. so we're removing layers of clothing and it gets down to crunch time and she says "what!! you use .5, i only want .7 or bigger!" and then she left and became a prostitute. but that's how life is.

Boo. 0.5 mm is obviously the better type of lead. It creates such sharp, neat lines. I have a couple of .7 pencils, but I really hate the way they look. So thick and smudgy! I really do look like a savage when I write with a .7, since it makes my handwriting so much bigger and messier.
