9am and already almost 90 (32) degrees outside

It's going to be a freaking scorcher today. Ugh...

 

Our forecast is for 70's finally. ENVY ME.

 

I do. It's forecasted to get above 110 today. That's above 42 C....that's not a temperature for weather, that's a cooking setting.

Literally, you can cook eggs on the tops of cars and on the streets at those temperatures.

 

Where do you live? It's 94 here in Arizona and going to be a nice, cool 102 with a high tomorrow of only 95! I may have to break out a sweater!

 

Right now, I'm just outside of Palm Desert, California. I'm visiting a sick friend and helping her with household chores this week. She has MS and the heat REALLY bothers her.

Normally, I live permanently in Grand Terrace, California. The weather in GT is slightly better than out here in PD right now.

Didn't get above 12c (52f) where I am in the English Midlands. The coldest August day here for 24 years.
