You can make the argument they are one of the best ever. As for THE best ever, I dont know. Someone always has a different opinion as to who is the all-time best. There are those who will say The Beatles, those who say the Rolling Stones and of course those who say Led Zeppelin, Van Halen and Black Sabbath are the best ever.

I think what makes AC-DC so special is their resiliency. Bon Scott dies and they replace him with Brian Johnson and they dont miss a beat. Their first album with Johnson, Back in Black, is one of the greatest rock albums ever. And unlike bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Van Halen, they are still around making music.

 

Of course you are otherly influenced, how do you think they made the songs.

That's a very good point lebowski...to be able to sell just as many, if not more records after changing a main member of the band is truly remarkable.

And, I think that the greatest rock 'n roll band of all-time would have to be The Rolling Stones...but, that's just my opinion.

You are so right. AC/DC doesn't ever miss a beat. That's why they are so awsome. They are much better live then on record.
