Colum, OH Advanced Screening At Marcus Crosswoods

It's been forever and a day since I posted,

Anway, I was playing around on the net and apparently Marcus Crosswoods is having an advanced screening of ROTS Friday May 13 at Noon. Has anyone else heard of that? If so, is anyone going? I know that I'll be there.

I looked all over Marcus' site, and couldn't find anything about it. I tried calling, but no answer. Do you have a link by chance?

 

Sorry Chris. I knew I forgot something. It wasn't on Marcus' site. It was at movietickets.com. It's not letting me purchase at the moment, but it's showing the time and everything. I'm trying to call marcus right now and see what the deal is. I will let you know if I find out anything.

Edit-I just spoke with someone at movie tickets.com and they said the system is down, but should be up later for any who want to purchase tickets for the advance screening.

 

Just got off the phone with the most *un-cooperative* manager @ Crosswoods who said that the May 13 @ noon screening of ROTS that is on the MovieTickets.Com website is invalid and was a mistake on the part of Movietickets.Com. I told him that there is an actual live link there that will allow me to pay for the tickets on-line and print out a receipt, so they might want to call MovieTickets.Com and have them pull it off the site if it is wrong.
He said that any ticket I bought via that link would *not* be honored at this theater, and that having the time pulled from the Movietickets.Com website was a "Marcus Corporate issue", and generally had an attitude like it wasn't his problem. Nice.

In light of recent events, I vote we boycott Crosswoods...unless of course they get e3 for imax

 

Oh well, it was worth a try. I'm with you on that. But it says they're going to have it on their 3 story ultrascreen when it actually does open up.

 

Bill-I just sent e-mails to both Marcus Theatres and movietickets.com. I'm seriously irked about it right now, because I can't go to the midnight showing. I guess I could go to the 330 one after I get off work...
