Yeah I'd like to know this... because I worked in a kitchen once, and I'd watch the chefs make chocolate. They'd stir and stir and stir to get all the air out of it, because they said if a single air bubble formed while it was cooling, it would **** the taste of the chocolate.

Which suggests the bubbles are put in after the chocolate is created. This only backs up my nanotechnology theory. Tiny little nanobots are sent into each newly created chocolate bar and each excavate a little hole or 'bubble'. Then, as they retreat, they use the chocolate that was in the 'bubble' to fill the tunnel they made on the way in.

It is the only possible explanation.

The chocolate is heated until it is in a fluid or semi-fluid state, then it is aerated, for example using a whisk, to produce many tiny air bubbles distributed throughout the chocolate. This is poured into moulds and the air pressure greatly reduced as the chocolate is cooled. The reduced air pressure causes the tiny bubbles to grow and gives the finished chocolate its frozen bubbles appearance. The solid chocolate coating on the surrounding surfaces of the bar is placed into the mould before the aerated fluid chocolate is poured in.

    google is my chum.

    What is aero?

Please forgive my ignorance. I had a deprived childhood. Dad could hardly afford dynamite for my birthday cakes. :_|

He's American Orn, from Philadelphia ;)

They don't have spearmint polos over there either, but I am sure I can make a nifty profit from selling tons of the stuff to the masses, I tested on the NYC Fanforce and it seemed to be a hit :)

World domination will be ours again! Time to reclaim the tea from the big pond!

They may dump our teabags in the sea, but they'll never take the kettle!

    It was.

Dad always thought laughter was the best medicine, which I guess is why several of us died of tuberculosis.

So are there different kinds of Aero? I mean I realise there are different flavours but today I had an Aero bar that I'd been saving for a while in the refrigerator and it was solid!
