Hey all, quick question about the different After Effects packages.

Does After Effects Professional contain Production Bundle tools? (For example, The Wiggler)
Or do I need to get the Adobe Production Studio Premium to get all of the production bundle tools?

Hopefully these come with professional, since I already own Final Cut Studio and would prefer not to
have to buy another video editing suite.

Specifically, I was looking at version 7.0.

Welcome to the forums - After Effects Professional has all the features that you'll ever be able to get with the software, bundle or otherwise. :)

    Hope that helps, good luck!

Production Bundle is like the upgrade from Standar to Professional. If you already have Professional, you dont need the bundle

Thanks, I've been lurking for years and learning what I could here and there...
Who'd have thought that I'd finally get serious about it when I am off at college
and have less money and free time than ever before?

I've heard stories, is it true that people have little money at college?
That doesn't really sound like the college I've always dreamed of.(Getting to move out.)
    Is it really bad?

    Tad bit OT, I know.
    Forgive me.

Well it depends where you go, how much you got in scholarships,
and how much you have saved (or how much your parents pitch in).
But for most of us sporting loans in the thousands of dollars,
pennies have to be pinched but if you budget right it really
    isn't too bad.

The independence rocks and I love everything about it, besides
the actual school stuff. Freetime is either plentiful or scarce
depending upon whether you have to work (for money) and how much
studying you (or usually don't) do.

Overall, I highly recommend the experience, it's basically like
living with several hundred of your friends all the time, and
hopefully figuring out what you want to do with your life and
securing the means to do it.

What sucks is when you know what you want to do with your life, and you're trying to do that, but you're stuck in college with a loan taken out[face_plain]

But yeah, regarding the topic: as far as I know, "Production Bundle" was simply changed to "Professional" around what? v6.0? Pro are the newer versions, Production Bundle are the older versions.
