Title: Age Matters Not? part 4
    Author: Alasse_Earfalas
Timeframe: pre-TPM, 90 years before ANH (same day as "Age Matters Not? part 3")
Characters: Yoda, Yaddle, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia, Micah Giiett, Plo Koon, Depa Billaba, Saesee Tiin, Eeth Koth, Even Piell, OCs
    Genre: Romance, angst, humor
    Keywords: Yoda, Yaddle, love
Summary: Yoda and Yaddle get permission from the Council and are married, then they practice Joint Meditation, where Yaddle learns some very surprizing things about Yoda's past.
Notes: This is the sequel to "Age Matters Not? part 3"

Yaddle walked to the Council room, the emptiness inside her still nagging for her attention. It was a strange feeling, knowing that in only a few days she would be carrying the twin children of the Grand Jedi Master. It almost frightened her. Both her and Yoda were Jedi Masters, both of them very strong in the Force. No doubt their children would reflect this strength.

There were many examples in the history of the Jedi Order where the children of one Jedi parent would inherit the Force-sensitivity of that parent, and would grow to be just as strong or stronger than that parent had been. But in all the records that were housed in the Archives, she had not found even one account of a child having two Jedi parents, let alone parents as strong as Yoda and herself.

?Is there something wrong, Master Yaddle??

Yaddle looked up at the caring sound of Adi Gallia?s voice. ?Well, yes,? she replied hesitantly, ?but discussed in this meeting, it will be.?

?You know why Master Yoda called this meeting?? she asked curiously. ?The rest of us don?t have a clue.?

Yaddle nodded. The reason for this meeting, I am, she thought. ?Find out the reason for this meeting soon enough, you will,? she said calmly.

?Master Windu told us that Master Yoda said this was an urgent matter.?

    ?It is.?

The two walked through the door of the Council Chamber, where the majority of the Council sat in waiting. They took their seats, waiting patiently for the rest of the Council to follow.

Yoda watched as the Council filed into the room. As Grand Jedi Master, he felt it was his responsibility to be there first, even when the meeting was called by someone else. He rather enjoyed watching each fellow Master as he or she entered and took their seats. It gave him a chance to observe their demeanor before the meeting started. Today he noticed that every one of them (except Yaddle) seemed to be very curious as to why this meeting was called. He didn?t let it show, but he was really looking forward to seeing their reactions when he explained the rather unusual situation.

Soon everyone was there. They went through the formal opening ceremony of the meeting, all of them standing and reciting the same words that had been recited by the Jedi High Council for thousands of years. Then they sat, and Mace Windu was the first one to speak. ?Well Master Yoda,? he said as he turned to face his old friend, ?I must say that I am very curious as to why you called this meeting, and I?m sure I?m not the only one.?

?Expected, your curiosity was,? he said warmly. ?As I told Master Windu, a very urgent and serious matter, this is.

?An unusual problem has arisen,? he continued, ?one that has never before been seen in this Order. But before tell you of this problem I can, explain to you some things about Master Yaddle?s and my species, I must. And though sound important or relevant these things may not, promise you I do that understand the significance and urgency of this problem you will not unless these things, you know.

?The first thing you must know, is that on the morning of their twelfth birthday, receive what is known as a virginity necklace, every female of our species does. Very limited is our knowledge about these necklaces. Know we do not where they come from, who makes them, or even how they are made.

?What we do know is the purpose of these necklaces. Have any sort of clasp or obvious connection point these necklaces do not. Appear they

I loved the wedding, you certainly write romance very well.

?Perhaps this is why Master Yaddle got Mother?s Ache? Perhaps the Force was trying to bring them together??

    I'm sure it was. [face_love]

    Wonderful piece. =D= =D=

This is actually very ironic, as I used to hate romance & still don't care for romance movies. :p I guess the only thing I don't like is all the complicated "You like me but I like him" & all the fighting & breakups & misunderstanding & other drama. If it's a romance that's sincere, sweet, and where each person is really devoted to each other & committed to making it work (like in "The Princess Bride" & "The Illusionist" :D ), then sign me up! Anything else might as well be a soap-opera, in my opinion.
