Age Of Empires 2 Cinematics Question (please answer as soon as possible)

Okay, I have used scenario editor and am familiar with it and all for the most part, but I clicked cinematics while creating and noticed you could have victory,pregame, defeat cinematics. But you can only add the three it has. So I try going to my computer...ect until i reach Age Of Empires 2, I went to Avi and found the 3 videos it showed, well I tryed draging my own video clip to it. I started playing again and went into the edit scenario or whatever. I Used the video clip I added to it as a pregame scenario. I left map editor and hit single player and my custom scenario, the pregame cinematic I added had sound, but the video was just like a white picture with black lines. Anyone know if I can add my own and how? I have sound so I'm halfway there.

Did you try making sure it's the same size (in pixels) as the ones used? Also, it may be a codec problem (i.e, AoE2 can't play DivX files or whatever).
