Hmm, what are the odds the Rangers series stars Carano?

 

My guess she was in the running till she started spewing stuff on Twitter.

Hence why it's not named after a particular character.

 

You think that'll stop them? After also announcing an Ahsoka show?

 

we need to separate this topic, Rangers and Ahsoka are two different shows as per announcdement with each their own Logo shown

 

I totally want Rangers of the New Republic to be Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Deborah Chow, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee just flying around the galaxy having wacky adventures. I really do.

 

But it's a Defenders-like set up where they will intertwine and combine with The Mandalorian.

 

for sure, I smell the Disney/Marvel formula at work behind all these and will delve into the connections in my story tapestry topic shortly after all announcements are done!

 

They do kind of seem like, since we see them investigate imperial sightings and have rifles for ground combat in addition to flying.

Probably not though, alas and alack.

Compared to the other blurbs this one seems kind of vague...hard to speculate on to be honest.

 

Well if the rumors are true, this one is about other Mando show characters spinning off into their own show. Though they were not my fanfavourites so I am not sure if I want to see them in it or someone new or else.

But where is the Boba Fett logo and announcement?

 

Would be odd having two masked Mandalorian shows concurrently.

 

Rangers looks like the one I'm most interested in: if it's about hunting down the remnants of the Empire, setting up the New Rep in the Outer Rim and stuff, could be really cool.

 

Wow, when it rains it pours. And once again the ridiculous rumors of everyone getting their own TV show turns out to be right. I should just start believing everything.

Irrelevant part; Sinre edited out. Her character is specifically the marshal of Nevarro and not a ranger that moves around.

It would be odd to be the X-Wing guys, since they all have bigger jobs in other shows from what I understand.

But who else in the Mandalorian is even New Republic aligned? Unless some more new, New Republic characters show up in the upcoming episodes...

Which I guess isn't impossible since they are visiting a New Republic prison and the New Republic might get involved in going after Gideon.

As for the Boba show...good question, good question...

So, will the Ahsoka series start before Mando S2E5? Or continue from there? And what about Sabine and Ezra?
Rebels final scene with Ahsoka and Sabine, the last scene of this series? Or a season finale?

I'm all for it. More projects, each individually smaller than a big saga film would be, leaves a lot more room for interesting ideas and the styles of individual creators.

 

Depends. They're gonna need to do more than just Nostalgia and Video Game Mystery boxes for these shows. Is the Ahsoka show just going to be her running around from planet to planet looking for Thrawn because if so I'm out or I'll simply wait until the final episode. As for things like Cassion Andorra, is anyone really gonna care about that show. A side character in a side movie whose dead, I mean seriously!

 

Dang dude, haven't you ever heard that saying about the journey being more important than the destination? What's the point in anything with that attitude. Just read the Wikipedia synopsis for every show or movie you're interested in.
