Albany's first meeting!

We just had our first meeting with three members in attendance. All of us girls, save for my best friend who was visiting.

But all in all, it was great to put a name to a face.

I was surpised to learn that I was the baby of the group. But I had a great time and am looking forward to next month.

Speaking of which.....RemyCat did you find out which weekend would be good and a time?

I don't think that meeting in Albany at 6:00 on a Saturday night is going fly....and Friday is a no go. It's StarGate and Battlestar night on SciFi.

 

The only weekend that is out for me is the weekend of Sept 17th & 18th. Maybe instead of meeting at 6pm on Saturday nights we could get together Sunday afternoon? I'm pretty flexible.

The first meeting was a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next one. Maybe I'll have my DragonCon pics to bring and show everyone.

Sept 11th works for me, I'll e-mail Brenda and see if that's a good day for her.

Maybe we can get more people from the area interested.

Any ideas on just how we can do that? I can ask around GSW....just started there or ask the guys in my favorite haunt.

 

I have had to change my work schedule just a tad for school.

I'm going to have to bow out of the meeting on Saturday. I just got back from DC and I am totally exhausted. Also my parents are coming over this weekend and I don't know what time they are going to leave. I'm free on Sunday however I am working the next weekend. My next free day would be on the 24th. Let me know what works for you.

Well I got my pictures back (all 190 of them!!). I should have them posted on-line soon and will bring them to the meeting on the 24th.
