Alema Rar

Sorry if there's already been a thread created about this topic, but what do you think Alema's ultimate fate is going to be? I imagine she'll die in the final Dark Nest book, but I'm wondering if she might be redeemed before that happens. She's been an interesting character, and I'm sorry her role in the GFFA is about to come to an end. Or is it?

 

Shes a blue Twilek who is characterized as "hot" and has fans.. she will definately die since Star Wars hates blue Twileks with a passion.. *CURSE YOU LUCASSSSS !!!!* sorry *straightens tie*

 

I, personally, would not miss her all that much. I stopped liking her when she tried to seduce Lando. It was at that moment I realised, "Hey, she's going to go to the Dark Side, the little slut."

 

I don't know... I'm beginning to think that all Twi'lek females are sexually overt. It's not really her fault.

 

I hope she dies of an STD or something. I would just laugh and laugh at her.

And some Twi'lek females are in control of themselves, like Aayla, although she admits that Twi'lek females are bred either to be spoiled brats, or slave girls.

Aayla's in control and a kick ass character. Alema is a slut who tried to get in bed with Lando

 

I can't see her coming back, which is too bad, she is really one of the only minor NJO charaters that I care about.

 

I keep trying to figure out a way they'll some how have her redeem herself, probably shortly before her death. I mean, the whole reason she went dark was because her sister died at the hands of the 'vong, and we are already setting up to have Jacen on opposite sides of this conflict with Jaina...just seems to me like there is potential for that to somehow tie in with Alema and hear death and or redemption.

Scarhead is a really offensive term for the Yuuzhan Vong. It's like Jap for Japanese. Only a slut would say that.

 

Or, maybe, y'know, someone engaged in a standing war with unprovoked aggressors who brutally murdered large segments of the galactic population they conquered - and enslaved and variously tortured the rest.

Being a slut has nothing to do with it.

Being a being with some emotional attachment to the reality you've always known just might.

Yeah but being slutty like she, is just so slutty and i think scarhead is almost as offensive as saying a chick who is super sexual is a whore.

So slut shouldn't say scarhead.

Doesn't Han also say "scarhead"? I bet Kyp does, too, and Jaina. Lando, Wedge, and Gavin probably do, too. Luke, Leia, Vergere, and Jacen are like the only ostensibly protagonistic characters who don't ever say it.

I think its pretty ovious that Denning is setting Alema Rar up for a fall by Leia's hand. In TJK Alema Beat up Leia pretty badly, while in TUQ it was pretty even. It wouldn't take a genius to work out what's going to happen in TSW.

Or Denning could surprise us all..

Or, TSW could end with the Mandalorians swwarming all over the Jedi pansies and conquering the galaxy and LoTF is about the New-and-Improved Jedi Purge. This is, unfortuantely, not likely

It's an accepted fact that Alema will turn to the Dark side. In SBS, the very book she was introduced in, Luke watches her recover in a bacta tank from the Voxyn attack that claimed her sister and muses that it isn't a question of whether or not she'll turn to the dark side, but when and for how long.

Troy Denning has proved conclusivly that Alema Rar will become evil. Eeeeviliilllllll!

And hanging out with Jacen won't help her very much.

 

But Jacen is too immersed in the force to give notice of some slut jumping on him!

Although he did get n bed with Tenel Ka...
