First of all apologies if this is in the wrong spot, it seemed like the most relevant locale. Secondly, this post will include spoilers from the Fate of the Jedi series. So...you've been warned. With all that out of the way, lets get started. Basically, I've been toying around with some designs or concepts for an Allana Solo, Jedi Queen lightsaber. Obviously this hasn't been covered yet in the books, but mentioned purely as prophecy, so its all hypothetical. Anyway, my concept is based on the premise that the White Current vision DOES come to pass, and Allana ends up taking her place as a Jedi Queen. So the question is, what would her lightsaber be like? I was thinking of starting with something more likely to be used by her as she began her training, the Allana version of Anakin's AOTC saber, if you like. Logically, since her mother is busy with Hapan royal affairs, it would be quite likely either Jaina or Leia would end up taking her as padawan, so these would be her primary influences for saber design I would think. For those not familiar, this is Leia's saber. Jaina's is a lot less interesting, as its just a V2 clone basically, without the thin emitter section. I certainly like the narrow choke on Leia's, and feel this would be very suited to a teenage Allana. The next obvious influence would be Allana's mother. Her rancor-tooth saber is famous (good example here ). The final influence would be her dad, although I'm unsure how much memory Allana would have of the specifics of his saber. Best guesses indicate that this was Jacen's last saber. The other thing I think needs to be incorporated is some element of Allana's personality too. Given her upbringing with a pet Nexu, I was thinking that, as Anji grew, it would shed teeth, and one of these would make a nice addition to her saber, so even if she was apart from Anji, she could still carry part of him with her. I think this would be a nice link to her mothers saber too, without going the full tooth-saber route, which doesn't suit a girl who grew up mostly on Coruscant. Anyway, haven't drawn up any designs yet, but those are my basic thoughts. Pretty much leaning towards something very similar to Leia's, maybe with a more V2 style emitter (Jacen's padawan saber was a V2 lookalike too), leia style thin choked section, and a toothed pommel, sort of like this pommel. Keen to hear thoughts, and any Lore geniuses who can point out anything I've overlooked.
Anji's tooth? I'd never even thought of that before... but I really love that idea now and really hope it happens.
