Rogue One An interesting realization about ROGUE ONE spoilers...

You know what...

I've just realized that any of us who follow spoilers, probably actually know absolutely nothing more about the film than anyone who's simply just looked at the officially released media (Trailers, Sizzle reel, Figures, Promo posters etc).

I was thinking about this, when I realized I actually now want to be completely SPOILER-FREE for Rogue One, and it got me thinking that I actually have no more info about the film than the average movie-go-er at this point.

I actually think that's quite cool.

The only real spoilers we ever got back in the day were about Character Names, Galen being Jyn's father, Vader will be in it with old costume, Death Troopers with Green Lights, and possibly some leaked Planet names...

but now all of that has been officially announced by Lucasfilm in various capacity, so even those who don't follow spoilers will have seen that info.


The only real *spoiler* I can think of that the average Joe won't know about, is the possible Tarkin appearance (although Lucasfilm released the sizzle reel with what looks to be a stand-in of him in) and the possible appearence of Leia.

Apart from that, we don't really know anything yet...

...which means, I can now go 100% spoiler free if I get out now

So, I'm gonna get out of the spoiler forums now ... no Spoilers for me ... see you in 91 days!!!!

(anyone else who reads this thread, can maybe use it to add any spoilers that aren't in the "public domain" yet, but I don't think they'll be many!)

 

Of course, we also "know" that Chirrut Imwe will die, but even that info came from officially released media (Celebration Rogue One Panel), so it still doesn't count as an un-official spoiler...

 

I agree it is nice but I don't really see a topic here so I'm gonna go ahead and lock this.
