Anagrams and Palindromes

As you all know, an anagram is a word or phrase made by transposing / rearranging the letters from another word or phrase.

A palindrome is a word or phrase that reads exactly the same left to right, or right to left.

My fave anagrams are:

Dormitory = Dirty room
Evangelist = Evil's Agent
Desperation = A rope ends it
The Morse Code = Here come dots
Slot machines = Cash lost in 'em
Animosity = Is no amity
Mother-in-law = Woman Hitler
Snooze alarms = Alas! No more Z's!
Alec Guinness = Genuine Class
A decimal point = I'm a dot in place
The Earthquakes = That queer shake
Eleven plus two = Twelve plus one
Spiro Agnew = Grow a penis

"President Clinton of the USA" becomes "To copulate he finds interns"

And my very favourite:

"To be or not to be: that is the question, whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune"

BECOMES:

"In one of the Bard's best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero, Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten."


As for palindromes:

What did the first man say to the first woman? "Madam I'm Adam."

And my favourite: "A man, a plan, a canal: Panama."

The only palindrome I know is

Able was I ere I saw Elba

And it's not really funny. I'll try to think of some anagrams.
