"Anakin's Nightmare" CIII Cabaret Costume Contest...

I decided to start a new thread to see if we could get more interst for this little 'project' hehe. I'm not going to give away details, otherwise it will spoil the surprise I need Padme ladies, as many as I can get (only one of each costume - sorry ). If you are intersted please PM me for the outline of the skit and see if it strikes you further

5 Padmes isn't bad, but like I said, the more the merrier Come on ladies, there are about 15 more costumes from AOTC To have them all (or most) would be awesome

I was trying to think of a good idea for communication that would not be a big chore for everyone. We could put up a private Yahoo group, but I know many of us already have too many boards to check. I use Yahoo mail which allows you to set up an email list. If your email programs allow that, it might be the least time consuming way to contact everyone at once.

Other ideas?

I don't have a Padme, but this particular "entry" sounds like something I'll have to wonder in to watch unfold.

 

The prospective Anakin looks great! And he's volunteering, so that's a major bonus! We won't have to draft someone who's reluctant.

Thanks MiraxTHorn - The skit sounds like a fun idea actually. I think I need the month of February to see if I can complete the Purple Senate dress in an acceptable manner. I wouldn't want to ruin everyone's plans if I ended up having to scrap it.

I've seen one of JedHead's Anakin costumes in person a few years ago, top notch all the way! I'm happy you decided to volunteer for the 'nightmare'

Assuming I do end up going to C3, which is very uncertain at present, *crosses fingers* I could contribute a "black corset Padme" to the skit. It'll definitely be done by then, seeing as I plan to wear the costume to a formal dance earlier in April. That is, I'm assuming the "deleted scene" gown already taken is the family gown, which is also nearly completed. (Pictures, I need pictures! Why, oh why didn't I get a digital camera for Christmas? WHY???) But if it's the deleted senate gown, I could do the family one.

Anyway, no guarantees at this point, but I'll let you know as soon as I find out if I'm actually going or not! And I really hope I do, this (on top of everything else at C3) sounds like a lot of fun!

Hello, ladies. I'd just like to know when everyone's getting to Indy so we can meet, rehearse, and go over everything before C3 actually begins. I'm arriving at 10 am on Wednesday. Also, which is the Blue Poncho dress? Is that the "garage scene" one? We might consider "alternates" in case some people can't make it for whatever reason. Just a thought. I feel like I'm on an episode of "The Bachelor"!

 

Oops, sorry, I should have specified that Caitlyn's was the deleted 'family' dress. If you're there Ame_V, then the Black Corset costume will be great

I plan to get into town some time on Wednesday, but I have not booked a flight yet so I'm not sure what my schedule will be like.
