Anakin's Tattoo

This my have already been asked..But what happened to the tattoo that Anakin got on Nelvaan during the clone wars?He doesn't have them after that

 

I was under the impression that it was only a ceremonial dye?
Fades after time / a good wash.

Otherwise all the males in the tribe would be covered

Nope. If you'll remember, he was seen shirtless in ROTS when he wakes up from his nightmare of Padme dying, bereft of tattoos.

They were disposed of. As everything else in that wretched cartoon should have been.
