The Meeting/Party is still going strong. Paul from the Courier-Journal showed up about 15 minutes ago.

I am very sad and upset. This was to be my first meeting and I have been looking forward to it but my ride could not take me cause something came up. I did inquire if anyone was going from the Shively area but no reply. I guess I need to forget about it. Maybe one day .

The Duel of Fates plays as the last of the gang leaves... Wow, a 5 hour and 15 minute meeting/party!

Ummm I left a spatula type thing and a towel by accident. I also in the process of leaving grabbed someone's spoon in my dish, I need to exchange these items at some point.

I had fun until I realized I was 40 minutes late to pick up my girlfriend. I'm not feeling too good about that. Hope to however keep track of time next time I meet up with you all.

Don't worry there will be a meeting in June.

We are still meeting at Preston Highway next Friday for the 10:30 showing. There will be about eight of us in line at Tinsletown Wednesday. If available stop by and see us.

The CJ Interview went pretty well. He did not take any notes this time. Just got a feel for the group. He is planning on interviewing and photographing us at Tinsletown Wednesday around 3:30 or so. He was actually knowledgeable about Star Wars. I actually impressed with his view of the story. I felt he was there to go a Story on Stars Wars and not go a story on a bunch of fans.

Sorry you couldn't make it, maybe next time we can arrange a ride for you from someone that lives out in that area.

Some of us do live around that area; I recall you asking for directions, but I don't think any of us knew someone needed a ride. Ah, maybe next time!

I had a great time at the meeting. Huge thanks (or should I say "mad props") to Bob and Greta for hosting. It was good to see many of the old crew again, as well as some new faces. The reporter guy seemed cool; I definitely don't think he's like the TV folks who'll be out on Wednesday night. This guy seems like he's fan enough himself that he wants to write about the experience and not a "look at these dorks" article.

I agree. It gave me a new hope for the press.
Our little family had a wonderful time. I was so glad they had other kids who loved Star Wars to play with. They don't get a chance to be around other kids who actually like Star Wars, so it was great for them too. And Bob and Greta were so awesome. When the other kids left and we wanted to stay for the reporter, they popped in Return of the Jedi for them in Bob's office. I appreciate that so much.
And Greta, I hope they wern't too much trouble. I know they got a little nosey there at one point. They won't always be with us, we just didn't have anyone to take care of them that night. Friday nights are really bad for us to get out usually.
Thanks again everyone. I really enjoyed meeting all of you!
