ANH special edition soundtrack removed from US itunes store?

I went onto the itunes store to see what tracks from ANH special edition I hadn't purchased yet, but I couldn't find the ANH special edition soundtrack, although I was able to find all the other Star Wars soundtracks. What's going on?

Not sure what's going on with itunes.

 

It's been a year after this thread was started, but I noticed the other two soundtracks (Empire & Jedi) have been removed and got replaced with "new" soundtracks with far less music. Does anybody know why this happened?

 

Who knows? So weird... maybe a licensing thing?

 

I created this thread before Disney replaced Sony's releases the soundtracks with their own. There's no Disney release of the special edition soundtracks (the ones with more music).

 

It's possible that Disney and Lucasfilm have let the license with Sony lapse, but have no desire to take back the SE's or issue their own.

 

Off Spotify too, along with the Episode I extended soundtrack.
