Antares Draco's bloodline that of....

Quinlan Vos? maybe Korto Vos' grandson? I've been looking at the many pics of both characters and there is a striking similarity not only in physical appearance but personalties too. Could this be the secret origin of Draco? his birth is that of the Vos bloodline? Just a thought

More likely it's Valin Draco, the former Imperial Inquisitor. That would make a lot more sense.

 

Maybe Valin Draco ended up fathering a child with Korto Vos's daughter (or even sister?)

Possibly although that just be a cover name to hide his Vos origin, but Valin is a possibility. Have to admit the pics I posted show striking facial similarities, especially the eyebrows

 

He can be descended from more than one person! (I think it's been confirmed he was descended from Valin Draco already.)

Legacy is like 4 generations later, he could have at least 8 ancestors we know!

 

They look about as alike as Mario and Koopa.

Agreed. No offense, but I think the Vos connection is a reach. The link to Valin Draco just seemed more likely to me since so many people are determined to believe Antares has to be a descendant of a prominent SW character.

 

Given we've already seen members of Clan Vos on Kiffu during Legacy, as well as Droo who is now theoretically both a Vos and a Skywalker from marriage, I don't think we need to have the rest of the cast coming from Clan Vos as well.

Draco and Vos look to me like they've both been drawn by Jan Duursema.

I'm not sure that Valin Draco has the physical capability to have kids any more, or that he's capable of loving anyone terribly well...

No, for Antares' Inquisitor ancestor, I'd suggest Adalric Cessius Brandl, via his son Jaalib and Fable Astin.

No. It has to be him. Just look at the pictures. See? They both have black hair so it's a perfect match

 

Jan has used the same model for Quin and Antares, IIRC. So it's not that Antares looks like Quin -- it's that they both look like Doug Wangler.

 

I gotta go with this. Vos and Antares only look alike in a few panels. This was one. I mean everyone would be related if we applied this logic to Brian Ching's people.

Does anyone think Draco looks a bit like Knight Rider's Hassolhoff, or do I need to make an emergency hyperspace jump?

 

I remember hearing that Draco's appearance was based on Doug Wangler, Duursema's Quinlan reference for the latter part of Republic, from the get-go, which would make them look pretty similar. I could be wrong, though.

 

I have no idea if it's deliberate, but IMHO it just fits, both with Draco's personality and the ideology of the Imperial Knights in general.
