Don't mean to sound rude, but there's no one to help? Anyone there?

Just the parts, i got the plans from big yellow box, but the hardware guys knew nothing of the sort by those names. So i just need to know what parts people in Australia used.

    Thanks!

Most of the pieces can be easily substituted, being Australian you're going to always have the problem of the American's calling the same item with a different name

Which model saber are you making? And which items are the ones you're having difficulty with? You should theoretically be able to find everything you need between two shops:

Bunnings Hardware, and Mittendorf's. Your best bet is to click on the 'show me' button on the website next to the item your looking for, print it out, and take it with you.

If you can't make it yourself contact the maker of Broken Allegiance, they made thier sabers out of solid aluminum I think.

    Good Luck :)

i went to bunnings to get an aluminum poll, but they didn't have any, only PVC.
I use a chrome exhaust pipe from Super Cheap Auto.

Thanks for the idea "Chancellor Gaould", i might try that as bunnings does not know what a sink tailpeice is.

Sadly, i didn't make it to bunning today! grrrr... but oh well.. this weekend probably, super cheap auto is just down the street so i might go there.

if the aluminium pole you are talking about is for the blade.....one place to get them is BIG W

they aren't exactly aluminium but metal curtain rods.....they come in varying sizes and are light and easy to use

as for attaching them to hilt...well i'm working on that now

i have an aluminium hilt...custom design....but its made out of part of an old vacuum cleaner hose thingy....try to find a cheap one at a second hand place and use that....or you could look at the repo center at your local tip (might smell a bit there but if you can find what you are after its worth it)

once i get working plans for attaching the blade to a hollow tube i'll whack them up here for everyone...

i also looked at bunnings on saturday while my dad looked for some wood, i found a aluminium pipe but it was waaay to thick and heavy....no good.....they mostly only have pvc

if my ramblings have helped in any way i'll be happy

Bunnings has hardly nothing. I go there all the time to try to find stuff that I can use on the lightsaber of Luke's in ANH. The small end of the clamp thats the middle section of the lightsaber, anything.

I might be however looking in the wrong places maybe.
