    Hey everyone,

I play guitar in a band called Echo Base located near Detroit, MI. We're recording original songs, some of which feature the stories of some Star Wars characters. Check them out at http://www.echobase.us . After that Star Wars Insider a while back that featured a whole section on Star Wars bands, I'm curious to know what's out there to listen to!

Hope to see some respones. thanks.

I've written a Star Wars themed song with my band and kind of have plans to do others. We haven't settled on a new band name yet, but I'm pushing for something Star Wars. I play bass and I'm lead singer... we should get some of our stuff online soon.

I'll definitely check out your band soon. Not tonight because it's late, but maybe tomorrow. Songs about Star Wars are great.

I know of a band called The Jedi Mind Tricks... don't think their songs have anything to do with SW, though.

And a swedish band called Broder Daniel once made a song called "Luke Skywalker", which is actually pretty good.

That's the closest I can get to "SW bands"...

Yes, Nerf Herder is the band that provided the kick-ass theme tune of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

There is a band called "Twin Sister". I believe they're from Seattle, they're pretty cool, sort of a funk/roock vibe, and totally Star Wars themed. You used to be able to get MP3's on mp3.com but that was before the site got totally cleaned out, you can probably still find them somewhere though.

    2 Skinny J's.

They've got a lot of Star Wars references in their songs and they even have a song entitled "jedi mind trick".

There's a band called Kinobe (where I nicked my username from obviously ;) ) who have a couple of little SW references, and there's a song on their second album called 'Slave 1'. Dunno if that would count as a Star Wars band tho...
