i just finished watching some of these on www.youtube.com, and it made me think. Television is nowhere as fun as it was when i was young. back then, it actually was a hoot to watch TGIF on ABC on a friday night. you had your milk, and your cookies. now, i can't even do that.

Or when Snick (Programming block for Nickelodeon) was on. those were the golden ages for me for television. now, Television is all boring, and not funny. anybody agree with me?

Not really, I'm glad for what they were but if they came back now and I watched I'd probably realise how lame they really were. Ther'es some kind of new travesty of an Inspector Gadget floating morning television here, Family Matters I watched but didn't like so much. Rocko was awesome and I think it could stand the test of time but I wouldn't want to risk it.

 

What I liked were the British kids shows I used to watch on the ABC when I was in school.

Dammit, can't find pictures.

It's interesting how the rising popularity of YouTube has rekindled people's interests in cartoons from their childhood, when you could have seen most of these intros at existing sites like Retro Junk

 

My favourite theme song? The start of M*A*S*H
