Anybody try that new Lightsaber Battle Game?

I just seen it and was wondering if anybody had any thoughts. I don't want to drop $50 and beat the game in like 20 minutes. Can you change the difficulty level or is this just for kids under 10 years old?

 

I tried it but the VR helmet didn't fit very well and the Vader robot kept breaking down.

 

I got the game, it is pretty good actually.

The secret lifebuble found on level 8 really gives the game a new feel. You can play through the rest of the missions after that one, and be completely spacodynamic. It really imporves the quality of the game.

 

I'm talking about that new game that came out this past weekend. You hold a lightsaber handle and battle characters from all the movies (saga).

He must be talking about Star Wars Saga Edition Lightsaber Battle Game, which strangely enough, I have never seen mention of until now.

I want to try it, but don't have $50 to spare right now. I will get it eventually, though.

I saw the LotR game with a sword, and wondered when the lightsaber one would come. I saw it in the Insider a few days ago and on the shelves yesterday.

 

Yeah I got it. Trust me, you wont be beating it in 10 minutes. it really is challenging. But a little advice, when your arms become sore from playing, take a couple days off from it, or suffer my fate you will. I was kicking butt until i got sore. Now when I play I cant get past jango on stage 3. The fathest I got all together is the Acklay on stage 3. Them rocks are hard to block! Obi Wan is kinda tough the first time you play stage 3 training. Once you learn his style you can really own him.

 

Does the technology actually work good, or is it cheesy?

 

Can you fight Darth Maul, and Light Side characters?

 

The game is $45 at Target right now. I box said you fight "Battle driods, Darth Maul, Mandalorian supercommandos, Jango Fett, Geonosians, Count Dooku, General Grievous, Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader and many more". It looks like I have to buy it now!

It sells in the toy aisle of the normal stores (Toys R Us, Walmart, Target, etc.), but is a universal plug in video game. You place the device on the TV and hold a wireless lightsaber handle and work your way through the game as a Jedi. I just purchased it last night and must admit, its a blast and totally worth the $44.99. I was breezing through it, but now I'm stuck on level 3 of 7. Count Dooku is fast with the saber!

 

This is the first I have heard of it. Is it any good?

 

How are the graphics? Also, do you move and fight or just fight?

 

Its a fun game. I'd guess its 64 bit, but it doesn't say anywhere in booklet.

 

Looks cool, I might grab it after the price goes down though. So poor

 

I finally pasted level 3 of 7. I got to the end of level 4, but General Grievous it a Mo-Fo. You beat him once w/ two sabers and he comes back full strenght, but yielding 4 sabers. Anybody beat him yet? If so how?

 

You need to buy 3 more copies of the game and go at Grevious with 4 sabers too.
